Interview experience:
All info from previous is right on. The emphasis is on RELAX, although you will obviously be nervous. Everyone is great and really goes out of their way to help. There are no funny tricks, just be yourself, be assertive, and know your Jepps. Tech interview as follows-location of beacon on airport chart, can you take off with RVR 6,6,6? What is a takeoff alternate, when do we need one. When do you need a destination alternate? What min wx to use this airport as a destination alternate? Where is the ARP(airport reference point) Read a metar, very basic with rvr varying along the runway. Brief the approach and allowed me to take my time. That was it, over before I knew it. Human resources-why eagle? Why should we hire you? What is your greatest weakness, What got you into flying, A goal you didn't finish. Maybe one or two others I don't remember now. Very easy. The Sim-this one was tough. By the time you get to this point, if you do you are tired and stressed out, not the best time for a grand performance. They go over the profile in depth with you. the hardest part is memorizing it.
