Actual Pilot Interview Experience for Trans States AirlinesThis was a very pleasurable, low stress interview process. Previous posted gouge was very accurate and very useful, thank you so much to those who took the time to post their experiences. I would add to the written portion questions regarding the colors of the Hold short sign, runway signage; color on color is? Also on Jepp charts (example provided) the radius of the MSA circle is? I've always used NOS and I didn't know either of these questions; I hope I guessed correct, I did pass ok as did all the others. Company seems to be a good place to be now, they talked of hiring 250+ pilots over the next year with many new Jets (EMB145s) coming on every month. Speculation that ORD may be added as a base in the near future, discussion of the United deal but said for now bases are RIC and STL with RIC being the junior base where you would most likely spend your reserve time, you could request a change of base later on. 3 person interview panel was as previously mentioned. I recognized Eileen Plante's (HR) name from the interview gouge here as well as on the TSA website and told her that I'd seen her name on the internet. Her response was "Where?" In what context?
