Very straight fwd. & professional. I met the CP at a job fair. They are looking for pilots with previous 121 time as well as those with EFIS experience. 737 type would help, but not required. Was given a handout on the company at the job fair after an initial 10 minute discussion... Basics on the good, bad & ugly of he company. Was called back a few days later for an interview...

The interview was held in Miami at their headquarters. No technical questions. Questions asked were done so to determine how you would 'fit in' at the company. No questions were asked that would paint you into a corner. I got the impression they are looking for very flexible people who are not commuters. One on One interview with the CP, very professional and no BS... At the end of the interview he gave me a sim eval package. Scheduled the sim two weeks later...

Sim eval is done in a 727 at Alteon in Miami. Real simple T/O, few turns, level off, direct to a hold, vectors for the ILS 9 into MIA. No tricks, just looking for basic instrument skills...

Overall one of the most relaxed, professional interviews I have done in aviation. More airlines should conduct themselves in the same manor as those individuals I came across at Miami Air.
