WHY spring to attend the May 3rd, 2008 Pilot Job Fair?
|
-
More than 5,500 reasons why, literally - because that's how many pilots were hired just last year from companies that attended our job fairs.
-
Unbeatable Value - maximum rewards at a minimum, not a premium - ESPECIALLY for Early Birds!
Because for a modest investment, that's even more of a bargain if you commit before April 19, you'll get first-class, first-hand results, starting with the opportunity to size up aviation company recruiters and introduce yourself to the hiring decision-makers. We've even negotiated discount room rates at convenient Crowne Plaza so you can present yourself rested and refreshed.
-
Your flying career is too important to base decisions on substandard intel. Don't depend on second and third-hand rumors and hearsay from other pilots - go to the source, and get the facts directly from the recruiters, first-hand, face-to-face! Get real answers for real questions, without fuss or diversions. Find out the real deal on hiring plans direct from carriers themselves, and network with peers.
-
Invaluable Exposure - your best shot at fast results.
You never get a second chance on making a first impression, so you won't want to pass up this proven opportunity to see and be seen. Get the edge only available from in-person encounters. You will no longer be a resume in a stack, you will have a name and a face! There's no substitute for the real thing, and that works both ways. Walk in with questions, and walk - or fly! - out with answers. Work smarter, not harder: you'll have four solid hours of invaluable two-way exposure to the best know-how, people and companies in the aviation business.
-
It's not just YOUR cause, it's OUR cause - the AviationInterviews.com Pilot Scholarship Fund.
By attending what may seem to be a totally self-serving enterprise, our Spring 2008 Aviation-centric Job Fair in fun, friendly Orlando FL, you're not just benefitting yourself and your future airline employer - you're supporting a great cause. Most of our Aviation Interviews Pilot Job Fair proceeds go towards our scholarship fund, established in 2003 to give back to those pilots following in your footsteps.
-
Saves time - There is no need for you to send out numerous resumes and wait for a response. You will talk directly with the recruiters and possibly have an interview on site or schedule an interview for a later date.

Here's what our job fair attendees had to say:
|
Mike,
I don't know where to start. Everything you have done for the aviation community has been phenomenal! I attended your job fair in Chicago, and the turn out was great! At the end of the day, of the 5 airlines I targeted, 5 interviews were set by the following week! For the interviews - your gouge was a fantastic supplement which help tremendously! Thanks again Mike and keep up the good work!

Mike,
I definitely feel the job fair was worth the trip. I will certainly recommend the website and job fair to fellow pilots. Lastly, everyhting was seemless and
easy to participate, can't think of anything to change.

Mike,
First let me give you the good news. I got hired by Air Wis. because I attended your Chicago job fair on Aug 25. Met allot of good people. Tip to others. SPEND THE MONEY and stay at the hotel the night before and show up fresh and relaxed. You ran a good event and had better than I expected participation from the Carriers, that were anxious to hire. The gouges helped me to prepare by knowing what to expect. Less stress.
Again thanks and and it was good to meet you.
Keep up the good work.

Hey Mike,
I didn't find out about the job fair until the day before and I must admit, I wasn't sure about the $75 fee to attend. I decided to give it a shot and signed up. I was really glad that I did. Speaking with representatives from the airlines first hand was beneficial and very informative. I was able to have discussions with several airline representatives regarding their hiring minimums, employment benefits, and business strategy. I even got called the next day and offered a class date by one airline I spoke with (I turned it down because I didn't feel it was the best opportunity for me). I would recommend it strongly to others who were serious about getting an airline job. I think it's so beneficial to meet recruiters face to face and hand them a resume instead of filling out some online form.
Thanks,
Matt Koschak

Mike,
I had a great time at the Job fair. I left the airlines 18 months ago to pursue a engineering position at an aircraft manufacturer and quickly relized that I belong in the flight deck flying airplanes, not at a desk designing them. Now that I know this, I decided to take the first step and go to this job fair. It was really exciting to hear the recruiters "selling" their airline to me and giving me reasons to come fly for them. Being a minnesota boy, I started with Mesaba and spent 10 minutes talking to a recruiter who gave me alot of information about the company and what to expect in the next 2 years as they get new airplanes. As a back up, I talked to Skywest and spent about 15 minutes talking to a Captain who was also very informative. Finally, I gave a resume to Avantair, which is a company I never heard of. By Monday afternoon I had an interview offer from Skywest and by Wednesday I recieved calls from Avantair and Mesaba for interviews. As far as suggestions go, I wouldn't change a thing. Starting at noon was great because I relaxed in the morning, ate a good breakfast, and had extra time to prepare. I had a name tag waiting for me and everyone I talked to was friendly. I really appreciate all that "aviation interviews" has provided me for a return to the airlines. Keep up the excellent work Mike.
(added 2 weeks later)...Also, I did get hired at Mesaba as a result of the job fair getting me an interview.
Thanks again for everything. I used your site to prepare and it was right on the money.
