FREE Avantair Pilot Interview Information and Gouge

Interview experience:
I flew into TPA the night before, and the hotel shuttle picked me up (Holiday Inn Select in Clearwater).  Elizabeth specifically recommended them, and it worked out great.  They knew exactly where to go for the interview, and the price is reasonable.

The previous gouges were pretty spot-on.  The PCATD isn't any touchier than the rest of them (they're ALL touchy).  I think the only questions I missed were one about micro-bursts and one about high altitude 2-pilot crew oxygen mask requirements.  The Assistant Chief sat in on the interview and asked some questions/verified some details.  Both of them were extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable.  I  got to meet a nice dog named Titan, he even escorted us all on the facility tour.
The job offer came after I left.  They have to meet with the higher-ups before making the final decision.  The classes alternate between Avanti I's and Avanti II's, and I was told that I'd eventually get the differences training to be able to fly both models.  The old hiring page had a line in the description encouraging applicants to send in a resume even if short a little time.  They are willing to hire with the right "quality" of time and pilot, not just looking at quantity.  All in all, I'm very excited to get started!
