Hotel Comments:
Very very nice hotel. Probablt the swankiest in the system. Large plasma TV. Huge granite walk-inn shower.
Places To Eat:
Dunkin Donuts by the gate.
Things To Do:
Watch the Washington power-crowd. Feel insignifigant.

Hotel Comments:
Hotel was nice, rooms were very comfortable. Watch out for early van, we had 5am van, at 5:05 the driver still wasn't there, the guy behind the desk had to take us.
Places To Eat:
DO NOT eat at the hotel. Everything on the menu was $20-25 (they did have a 20% crew discount), we had to ask special for the "sandwichs menu" burgers were $11. We got TERRIBLE service, then we were forced to pay $12 for the burgers because after we got the bill we were informed $11 was the "old menu price."
Things To Do:
They have a fantastic "spa area." Huge weight room, pools, sauna, steam room. It also appeared they had free tanning, but I couldn't get the bed to work :-/

Hotel Comments:
This hotel is right next to the departure end of rwy 19L. In the evenings (especially Sunday) you can watch all the 777s takeoff RIGHT in front of the hotel on their way to Europe. :-) That's when the wind is out of the South, of course.
Places To Eat:
A great chinese restaurant called Fortune at the intersection of Barron Cameron and Reston Pkwy. in Reston if you can get a lift over there. 1428 North Point Village Center On Reston Parkway
Things To Do:
The Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center is on the grounds of IAD (practically accross from the Hilton). It's the best aviation display that I've ever seen. There's a cheap Metrobus (like $3) downtown from the IAD terminal. Downtown there's anything and everything... most of it pretty cheap too. In the summertime, I'd definately recommend the cafe/bar at the top of the Hotel Washington at Penn and 15th St., NW. (Metro subway to Metro Center and walk).
