| Not in Lake Charles it is in the town of Sulfur. Grocery store is in walking distance to the right, Waffle house is right next door (24hrs), and Sonic and a couple of other restaurants are close by. |

| Go to the Casino!!!! I make $$$ every time. $25.00 flat rate cab ride each way, a dollar extra per person. Stay out and come back for adequate rest. I love this stop, but the hotel is in the wrong place - rumored to be moving soon. |

| Nothing special about this hotel. It's your typical Fairfield Inn. The worst part about this place is the long van ride! If you are dead heading out of here, make sure you show up for the van super early! I came down 10 mins before the scheduled van time and they had already left without me. I even signed up for the van ahead of time. |

| Alright hotel, breakfast in the morning, treadmill, indoor pool, small outdoor patio-like place to sit outside the pool. 20 min van ride. Van won't take you anywhere. |

| Winkidoo Icecream, Pizza Hut, Waffle House to the immediate left. To the right past the interstate, Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, Chinese place, Steak place, Subway, Grocery Store, Cajun something or other and Guadalajara Mexican place. We went to Guadalajara, they have a bar, nice folks running the place, good food. |

| There is a good place to eat (cant remember the name) within walking distance from the hotel. If you go out to the highway, take a left and walk to the intersection. Cross the highway, then cross the intersecting street. Go past the 2nd gas station and you're there. They have the biggest stuffed baked potatoes that I have ever seen. The burgers are good too. They dont sell beer but will let you bring your own (stop by the convenience store on the way). If you get in late, you can call dominoes then run across the street for beer. |

| If you are on the 30hr overnight, rent a car at the airport. I paid $32 for a midsize for 24hrs. Since the van wont take you anywhere, this is a great option especially to go to the casino on the first night then work up an appetite and hit the $15 buffet there the next day. Or you will at least have some transportation to eat somewhere else. You will need to coordinate with the hotel to return the car when they make a crew pickup. They will not make a special trip just to pick you up. I guess another option is to keep it until the next day and return it at showtime. I did not do that so I am not sure what the return procedure is, especially since they are not open for the 05something showtime. |

| Decent hotel, still recovering from hurricane damage but ok for us-manager really tries to help us out. Pool is closed as of 3/06. If you have the early showtime, make sure the van driver is available early enough. |

| Hotel is in middle of nowhere. Has free breakfast including cereal, muffins, and the malt-o-meal waffle maker. Long van ride also. |

| Pizza Hut next door is it. Fast food available (Wendy's, McD, etc) across dangerous highway intersection - not sure if van will take you there. |

| Only thing worth doing is to have the hotel call Harrah's and go gambling. The Casino van picks up quick and brings you home. The bartender on the first level of the slots/video poker room is a real asshole. Don't give him the time of day. |
