Very nice hotel. Can't say enough good things about downtown Seattle.

The Regatta in the hotel has a great happy hour to get started. There is a Cheesecake Factory and Rock Bottom brewery nearby. But there are literally dozens of options. I especially recommend Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar in Pikes Place. Very friendly little place with great beers and seafood.

Tons of things to do down by the river. There are a lot of bars on 3rd and 4th Streets. Near Nordstroms you can get on a monorail down to the Space Needle. $10 appx. roundtrip. I caught a Supersonics game at Key Arena. Dick's Hamburgers near there is great.
