| Still in need of a facelift which is supposed to be in the works. Don't bother with the hotel restaurant unless you're pressed for time. Too many choices real close by to justify that. |

| There is a whole "re-vitalized" area 4 blocks away. Tons of eateries and saloons. They call it the Gas & Light District. If you want cheap food & booze with live music ask for directions to John's Upper Deck. |

| The new area has attracted lots of new talent. If you're looking to meet some new "friends" it should be no trouble. Folks are friendly and lots of hot girls. |

| Several good places less than 10 minute walk on 14th street. Irish pubs and good seafood place. |
| Things To Do: |
| Go to the new power light district. Its off 14th st 10 min walk from the hotel. There's a cool piano bar, Irish pub with live music, and several other good bars. |

| The hotel is nice, free internet, and located in the center of downtown Kansas City. Van was on time. |
| Places To Eat: |
| Alot of places to eat nearby, some local bbq style places, as well as Jason's Deli, Subway, and Jimmy John's. Ate at Gordon Biersch, which has excellent brew's as well as pretty good food, and happy hour on weekdays from 10-close. |

| Walk around town, drink beers. |
