Hotel Comments:
Van's are ready to leave 5 till van time...so get downstairs early. If you are a girl, double check the night before for a hair dryer. I had to dry my hair in the gym on the first floor 10 minutes prior to go.
Places To Eat:
Hotel breakfast, not too bad... Saltillo's is better!
Things To Do:
Not much.

Hotel Comments:
VERY Americanized area. (NAFTA was good to this part of the country!) Standard Hampton Inn beds (aka soft in Mexico). Breakfast was alright, sub par for a Hampton Inn, but it did the trick. Do NOT ask the van driver to take you somewhere "Authentic" mexican to eat. Free high speed wireless. So-so fitness center. Lots of English channels on the TV.
Places To Eat:
Well, the MexiCali (or something like that) as well as a Chili's, Subway, 7-11 and more are right next to the hotel. Very American area. We got a cab (about 40 pesos or $4) to the Plaza de Apodaca. Apodaca is the suburb of Monterrey that you stay in. I can't remember if it was the Plaza de or the Centro de Apodaca. Basically, its the central plaza od Apodaca. Really neat town square. We have dinner down there, 10 tacos, soup and a coke for under $7!
Things To Do:
Get a cab to the Plaza. not much right at the hotel.

Hotel Comments:
Close to the airport, hotel is OK but a little worn. Has a free business center.
Places To Eat:
Good Hampton Inn breakfast. Next to the hotel there are several good restaurants.
Things To Do:
Go to the Oxxo convenience store next to the restaurants for cheap Coke and cerveza.
