Hotel Comments:
Hotel overall is not bad. Almost done with renovations and have updated the entire hotel. The van was there waiting for us at the airport on time, picks up outside on the outer curb where rental car company shuttles pick up. It's located right on a highway so there isn't much you can walk to but the van will drive you to a few places. Hotel does have a small fitness center and pool. Free wireless in rooms and business center as well. The rooms were updated and comfortable.
Places To Eat:
The hotel restaurant/bar is not bad. Prices are pretty reasonable as well, at least for a hotel restaurant. There's a gas station next door with a small store and also a Jack In The Box just down the road within walking distance. There's also a McDonald's, Subway, etc. on the other side of the highway, where you must go under the overpass and get over to the other side. The best thing is to ask the front desk or van driver to take you to an area called "Restaurant Road/Row". There are tons of places in that area to eat, something for everyone. Chilis, Humperdinks Sports Bar, Crab Shack, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, a BBQ restaurant, some fast food places, and a few others as well.
Things To Do:
Nothing much at all near the hotel, but ask the hotel driver to take you downtown. There you can find much more stuff. I would suggest visiting an area called West End, etc. You can also go and visit the museum and see where JFK was shot (near West End area). Also, if you're into clubs, there are tons near the hotel on the same highway. Van driver was saying that Dallas is well known for clubs.

Nice hotel, restaurant a bit pricey. Hotel van pretty quick too. Pickup is downstairs with the rental car courtesy vehicles.
Places To Eat:
Hotel Van takes you to "Restaurant Road" on the hour every hour. Works pretty good. Front desk has a list of places to eat there, among them: Chilis, Wok, Bar&Grill, Humperdinks Sports Bar (recommend that), Crab Shack, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, BBQ, etc.
Things To Do:
Wireless internet is free, get the code from Front Desk.
