FREE Flexjet Dispatcher Interview Information and Gouge
Faxed a resume in response to an ad on Monster.com. Nicole Lee, HR Manager, called the next day, told me about the job and asked if I'd be interested in interviewing for the position.
During the interview with Nicole, and Dispatch representatives Dave and Casey, I felt very comfortable. There were no technical questions outside of those I had for them regarding dispatching in a 91 environment vs. a 121 environment. They mainly concentrate on your personality and are looking to see if you would be a good team member and have the aptitude to work within their operation. No tricky questions, but I do recommend, as with any interview, to spend a few moments thinking about your strengths and weaknesses ahead of time. Be sincere on both. Don't ever pull out "I work too hard" (or similar) as a weakness. As a former interviewer, I find that so lame.
After the interview, Casey took me on a tour of their Operations Control. Buzzin' like a beehive! I was called 6 weeks later and offered the job. Starting salary is low to mid 30s depending on experience.
