The interview was the most pleasant interview I have ever had. Met with the interviewer (active GoJet Captain) at a Marriott near my house. He was there for a career fair and stayed for my interview so I didn't have to fly up to St Louis. Interview was very similar to the others on this website and the study questions were all you really need to prepare with. A couple of notes to mention 1. GoJet uses Lido charts instead of Jeppesson or FAA charts. We used the Lido chart for the technical... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Mar 05, 2024 Like many of the other responses, it was very straightforward. The HR portion included TMAAT questions, so be sure to review what is in the study guide on here. For the technical interview, the CA asked about a METAR and TAF. She then asked me to brief an ILS on the Lido charts and once I was done briefing the chart, she asked me a couple random questions about the airport lighting, type of minimums, etc. I cannot remember a whole lot more, but I do know the previous interview experiences... 2. Feb 28, 2024 Overall very relaxed and easy experience. Started out with the HR rep showing me a slideshow of what GoJet has to offer. You could tell they are very good about breaking the ice and easing nerves. We then started on the HR portion. View the study guide. After formal questions about criminal background and such, I was asked HR type questions.  Next we moved onto the technical. I was asked to brief a LIDO plate (just did it how I have always briefed approaches) was told I did well. He... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Feb 28, 2024 The whole interview took less than an hour. I am an Aviate candidate which probably helped expedite the process. Majority of the interview focussed on HR; a presentation talking about the company followed by standard questions regarding my legality to work. The HR questions were pretty standard, nothing that was difficult to answer. They do ask how they could do better. The technical took 10 minutes it felt like with questions regarding a walkaround, reading a TAF, and reading a LIDO chart... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Feb 28, 2024 The interview (Direct Entry Captain) was little less than an hour. Gouge was very accurate and straight forward no surprise. 1. Started with formal questions on background (criminal history, check ride failures) 2. HR questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Technical questions: - LIDO chart, KDEN ILS 16L approach - Give me an approach Briefing and questions.  Lastly, they asked me whether I have any questions and discussed about the on-boarding paperwork. The... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Feb 21, 2024 It went very well. Opened with HR with a discussion of what GoJet had to offer in regard to pay, benefits, work schedule, etc. The HR rep was very kind and easy to work with. She was energetic and open to questions about the company. TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website).  The Tech portion included a brief of a LIDO approach, discussions about altitudes and airspeeds along several portions of the STAR, followed by the inop lav scenario. Took about an hour, got a... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Feb 21, 2024 HR portion was simple and mostly an explanation of the company. TMAAT you worked with someone difficult, What can GoJet do better, what makes a good captain? Technical involved briefing a LIDO plate and the inop lav... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Feb 07, 2024 The interview follows a lot of the previous posts. Zoom with 2 individuals (HR and a Pilot). Starts with a lot of the typical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  After about 10 minutes she exited the chat and I talked with the Pilot. I started out briefing a Lido chart, I don't remember the airport but it wasn't too difficult. Just brief the plate like you would any other even though the formatting is weird. I walked through the whole approach and explained the missed... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Jan 31, 2024 Interview was conducted on MS teams. I started off on a bad foot the night prior when I got a late night email about my logbook hours not matching my app. I had sent in the last 4 pages of my logbooks as requested, but my hardback military logbook doesn’t reflect total hours very well across multiple TMS’s. Had to fix this by pulling up some records of flights and sims to send to Lisa (Capt/Chief recruiter) to rectify it. However, in the teams interview Lisa and Kali (HR) were... 9. Jan 09, 2024 Overall great experience, very relaxed. Genuinely interested in you as a person. Asked a few TMATW then went into technical. Everything on here is accurate! Know your Lido charts and how to brief it and all symbology. Know your part 121 instrument weather and minimums, etc. Be confident and want to be there!... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Jan 03, 2024 First Company presentation, then HR interview regarding background followed by technical with a pilot. This was all virtual. Read a TAF and meter, brief a plate (lido chart), question about when alternate or second alternate is required, then a scenario-based question or two about how to handle weather phenomena and how to plan. Said I would hear in 1.5 weeks. Took 1.5... Continue reading this interview experience
