The interview process was via video on line. Very easy to set up, just make sure you're able to do so. Recruiter started off with an introduction about the company, the majors they support and a training outline. The Aviate program was touched on and I recommend reading over what its about just so you'll have an idea as he briefs it. Its a video on line remember so sometimes there can be a delay in the feedback. So plan ahead and do some homework on Mesa and its programs, routes, aircraft etc. We then went into the scenarios. 1. Nov 14, 2023 A 60-minute DEC interview, could have been 20 minutes, but a lot of friendly banter. So incredibly laid back. Handfull of TMAAT and situational Qs - no tech questions for the DEC applicants, apparently. WWYD if someone thought the club soda had booze in it? WWYD if an FA appeared to be distressed? TMAT you had a conflict in the flight deck. Nothing that wasn't in the gouge from this... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Sep 15, 2023 Interview was straight-forward just like previous reviews. Interview started with verification of qualifications, Passport, Certificates, Medical and logbook. Proceeded to HR questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Next we got into some technical questions which have been depicted in this forum. Finally- a verbal offer/ recommendation for hire pending hiring board review and class date selection. I was initially offered the B737 but ended up with the E-175 because the... 3. Sep 06, 2023 Amazing Recruitment Team. Throughout the process they were encouraging and positive. The interview was conducted via Teams and was about 1 hour. The Recruiting Team consisted of two Mesa Airlines Employees. After a general "Get to Know You" discussion, the interview moved into some Q&A about how I would handle different hypothetical situations as a pilot flying in the 121 environment. After these questions the interview transitioned into general aviation knowledge. During... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Sep 05, 2023 Interview was on Microsoft Teams with two people from HR. It started off with introductions, flight time, what schools I went through to get my ratings. We then dove into scenario questions, (view the study gide of this website).  The next questions were 10 technical multiple choice questions. The questions were pretty basic and I scored 100%. The interview was about 30 minutes total and I received a job offer the next day..overall a very relaxed... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Jul 17, 2023 Thanks to all who have posted before me. My experience was very much like the most recent posts. I received an email within a day or two from submitting my application. I set up the interview for the same week. The interview was very relaxed and the recruiter made me feel at ease. I Interviewed for a DEC position, no technical they know you have mastery of aircraft by this point in your career. I had HR questions, 3 strengths and weaknesses, someone mistakenly thinks the FA gave you an... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Jun 16, 2023 Three what ifs. A drink, non alcoholic , was brought up to the cockpit and a passenger saw that it looked questionable. How would you respond? Flight attendant shows up to the plane visibly upset. How would you handle it? How did you handle a conflict in the cockpit. I said that I deflected to a different subject that we could discuss. No technical questions as he was not a pilot... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Jun 01, 2023 The interview was one on one with the recruiter I had spoken with after submitting my application. It was via Teams and lasted around 30 mins. After telling me a little about himself I ran through a summary of my training and flying career, verified I had no failed FAA checkrides or 121 training events, and then talked off topic for awhile. Then we moved on to 3 HR questions: *3 strengths and 3 weaknesses of yours *How would you handle a situation in which a passenger mistakenly thought you... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. The interview was very simple. Just a few basic HR questions and TMAAT. Then I was given 10 technical questions that were multiple choice. I am pretty sure there were a few I got wrong, but still received a job offer. The recruiter who interviewed me told me not to stress about the technical portion too much. Overall, very laid back... 9. Super relaxed interview. They really try to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything was pretty standard and covered in this gouge. It was video conference interview. Study everything in this gouge and research everything you can about the company. They will ask what air frame you prefer. The CRJ seems to have class dates that are more readily available. The ERJ looks to be backed up. I would ask about the 737 option also. They have 2 737’s and are going to be receiving 4... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Interview was via Zoom and started pretty much on time. The HR TMAAT questions were all from the gouge. Tell me about yourself, 3 best and worst qualities, captain shows up smelling of alcohol, etc. The technical questions were on a word doc with multiple choice answers.  Not sure if they have just made new questions? Kind of awkward to have them just sit there and watch you as you read questions to yourself and pick an answer. After the multiple choice there was a STAR into PHX and...
