The interview process was like what everyone has said in previous write ups. Everyone there was very friendly and were rooting for you to succeed. The first day involved drug testing, cog, psych and job knowledge tests. I felt that the first two tests weren't too bad but the job knowledge test was a beast. Everyone walked out feeling as though they had failed. I did a lot of study preparing for the test and I felt as though most of what I studied wasn't on the test. However, apparently I prepped well enough as I got invited back for day two of the interview. I was in the morning go and... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. The interview was divided into the SBI and panel interview. I did the panel interview first with two senior FedEx Pilots appox 45 minutes, a relaxed environment. It started with a self introduction. After the the interviewing Pilots introduced themselves . Then HR type questions. (view the study guide of this website).  No trick questions and you were given reasonable time to answer. The SBI was done with 3 Delta management Pilots, one acted as the PM during the SBI exercise. The... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. The job is yours to lose once you are there. They wanted to get to know me and hear my stories. The interview is now a one day process consisting of the SBI/HR Panel/ drug testing/ paperwork. No gotcha’ questions, they simply want to know if you are a good fit for them and if FedEx is a good fit for... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Most of our group showed up at 0630. At 0700 one of the ladies from HR will come down and escort everyone up to the conference room. They didn’t provide breakfast so suggest eating something before. Everyone was very welcoming and made you feel like you really did belong there. We were giving a couple briefings on what all needed accomplished before leaving that day and on what was going to happen in the panel and SBI portions. I was one of the last to go back to either section and... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Background: USAF KC-135, T-1 IP. Approx 2245 TT not including simulator or "other" time. Nearly all in the KC-135 and T-1. First they brought me back for the situation based interview, or CRM interview. Talk through a mock airplane scenario and come to a decision within 8 minutes. Work through it with your FO, coord with ATC and dispatch, and present a good debrief at the end with all the things you wish you had did better and justify why you made the choice you made. If you wish... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Interview experience was very typical as what many others described. Day 1 interview (COG and personality assessments) were conducted at home. 2nd day was in person interview in Memphis. 6. As advertised by other applicants. The actual interview process is highly confidential to protect its integrity. Everyone was incredibly nice and you can tell they want to hire you. The HR panel is standard. The SBI is very dynamic and they will make their expectations crystal clear in the briefing. Be professional, humble, and polite and you’ll be successful. They may not appear quite as strict in terms of paperwork prep as other airlines (Air Lines), but PLEASE do yourself a favor... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. The most laid back and friendly interview, SBI was no joke but the company wants to hire you if you are there in person. There were new questions, and TMAAT questions were not present. Just wanted to get to know you. SBI was as previously described, be ready to utilize CRM and make a... Continue reading this interview experience
