I submitted my application for Republic Airways and heard back from a recruiter the following day. We had a 15 minutes phone screen conversation a few days later and I was invited for an interview in Indianapolis. They booked my flights to and from the interview and put me up at the Springhill Suites near the training center. All travel and accommodation was paid for by Republic. On the interview day I arrived at 08:15am and met all the other applicants interviewing that day. At 08:30am we had a company presentation by HR and... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Mar 15, 2024 They flew me out to KIND the day before the interview. I got there around 4pm and they had a shuttle to the Hotel lined up about 30min away. Got to the hotel check-in and travel went smooth. Next day interview was at 8am and I arrived in the lobby about 15 minutes early. It was just me, the captain, and the HR representative so I was the only one interviewing that day. We started out with a tour of the training facility which took about 30 min. Next they gave me a little presentation which... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Mar 14, 2024 Everyone was super nice. Everything on the gouge was accurate. Facilities are fantastic and the staff and captains were very laid back. My captain asked me about hold short lines, and what side I was on by referencing a photo. , had me read a metar. One of the lines on the metar was in regards to snow. I believe it was SNE16B34 (I believe this is snow ended 16 minutes past the hour and then began again 34 minutes past the hour). Asked if we needed an alternate and I said yes, he then asked... 3. Mar 08, 2024 Again, every experience that you read before mine was exactly what I experienced. 4 of us interviewed. I was hired on the spot and given a starting date 5 weeks out (due to my ATP-CTP course being completed). 2 others passed the interview, but need to go to an evaluation board, which really isn't a big deal (60% of the pilots at the company had to go to one). 1 was not hired (he didn't know how to read a METAR/TAF). I noticed a trend on here that the interviewing pilots used an approach... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 06, 2024 Flew out the day before the interview to KIND and then they had shuttles every 30mins back to their HQ in Carmel Indiana which was about 30 mins away from the airport. They have their own hotel for Republic use only and their training facility right next to it. They provided the airfare and hotel. They have a breakfast provided starting at 630am and even a barista for specialty coffee complimentary. I ate breakfast right at 630am and then went to get ready. Once you are ready for the... 5. Mar 04, 2024 Went pretty much like everyone else has stated. Great experience overall. Flew in around 8 PM the night before. It was about a 40 minute shuttle ride (Republic shuttle) to the Hotel. Grab and go food at the hotel was the only thing available. You could walk about 10 minutes to a couple of eateries but I was tired and wanted a good nights rest so I just bought a sandwich from the vending machine. Breakfast was good. Plenty of time to go down and eat and then change for the interview.... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Mar 01, 2024 Great experience as others have mentioned. Amazing facility (hotel and training center). Met other pilots in the lobby around 7:45 AM the day of interviews. Brief tour of the existing facilities / training center, followed by a HR presentation and Q&A with a few captains. Everyone was welcoming and very positive. Overall vibe was one of success and "we want to hire you"....it's up to you to show up and succeed. Some down time in the lounge area prior to brief interviews. HR... 7. Mar 01, 2024 The interview lasted about 15 min. Basic HR questions and then I was asked to brief an approach, then I was asked what kind of entry I would do into the hold on the missed. Pretty simple and laid back. The facility is super nice and very modern, with their own hotel... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Feb 27, 2024 Previous experiences are spot on. Everybody was really personable and was willing to answer any questions that our group had to the best of their availability. Interview was short and sweet, Captain didn't dig too deep into any one subject during the technical. Was told at the end of the interview I would hear something within a weeks... 9. Feb 23, 2024 Like most people have said, they fly you in the night before, and you stay in a hotel, which is extremely nice. The next morning you meet in the lobby and you are greeted by a couple HR people and a couple of pilots. They take you on a tour and give a presentation about the company, the pay and the benefits. After that, you get a chance to ask the pilots questions. The pilots and HR were cutting up the whole time and joking around which made the whole process feel light and relaxed. After... 10. Feb 22, 2024 The interview process at Republic was great! We touched on jepp charts, some performance questions related to jets since I fly jets. Talked about airspace altitudes for a moment. Go/No Go situations even when weather meets 123 rule (even with VFR conditions if you have a crazy wind speed (+40kts) make sure you file an alternate). Overall, the interview was great, and I’m looking forward to moving from 135 to... Continue reading this interview experience
