Interview as previously stated. 2 Day process in Dallas, first day was the PST (which is now being given in LAX and online as an option). I don’t care what anyone says, there is no way to prepare for the PST. It’s broken into 6 parts, 4 of which are timed. There is no such thing as doing well on the PST, it uses machine learning. The better you do, the harder it gets, especially for the math portion. The best preparation you can do for the PST is get a full nights rest and not have any distractions like hunger or your phone buzzing while you take it. Be... 1. Mar 27, 2024 Really laid back and a good experience. All the pilots doing the interviews make you feel very comfortable and help with the nerves. TMAAT you had to make a decision at work and what was your thought process behind your decision? Tell me about someone you consider a mentor. 20 min into a flight and you have to shut down engine what’s your thought process? How can pilots help promote and grow the... 2. Mar 27, 2024 The gouge on this website is exactly what was asked during my interview. Just look over the material and have some TMAAT scenarios planned ahead of time. The whole experience was very easy going and welcoming. Make sure all logbooks are totaled and have no errors. Also make sure to bring all the required paperwork. After my interview I was told that I was going to the review board. They did not tell me why but I suspect it was because of my lack of TPIC. I heard back a few days later with a... 3. Mar 27, 2024 Everything on this website was pretty accurate. I did get one question that was not in here, I'll add it to the list for those reviewing. This is by far the most relaxed interview I've had, as others mentioned, you are being evaluated but it was more or less a few pilots talking. I was asked apx 7 ish questions, half of them were TMAAT and the other half were WWYD. Interview itself was about 45 minutes. If they are laughing and seem like they are having a good time, I'd say you're doing... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 27, 2024 1. Shuttle 2. Check-in 3. Turn in logbooks 4. Original document review 5. Escorted to the museum and movie theater. 6. Chat with a Captain in a senior leadership position of management. 7. The interview under the DC-3: - my interviewers were two CAs from the training department. They were absolutely amazing. A lot of emphasis on being comfortable, relaxed, and genuine. Very conversational and lots of feedback. The questions were all straight out of the study guide of this website.  My... 5. Mar 06, 2024 Very straight forward interview they definitely care about the application process. It is all checked a few more times after you enter the building. They do the logbook review and check your records before getting started process lasts about 30 mins. You're given a tour of the museum then watch the 20 minute video and after you start the interview. It's more of a conversation but keep your Star method in your tell me about a time stories. The Captains I interviewed with were awesome. we... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Mar 06, 2024 HR interview one-on-one via Teams 2 weeks prior to in-person interview. In-person panel was 2 males (20+ yr CAPT & 2 yr FO, both at DFW). Sequence...AA provided hotel and travel from hotel to their Training Center, security check in, provide requested logbooks and paperwork (per email directions previously provided), some candidates required real time changes made to the portal, then marshaled to theater for a pump-up video, then off to atrium by the DC-3 to meet up with interviewers at... 7. Mar 06, 2024 The interview process is described perfectly on this site. Upon receiving the interview invite, you’ll get a an email regarding the admin interview which is a 10-15 minute HR interview via zoom about a . 2-3 HR type questions and one scenario question - why AA, what does diversity mean to you in the work place, etc. scenario question was a loss of pressurization at alt with a windshield crack what would you do? After that you’ll get emails regarding travel and accommodations for... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Feb 16, 2024 Went to NGPA, and had a Meet and Greet scheduled. That went well, and later that day they called and asked if I could swing by a side room to fill out an additional personality test (I had previously completed the AON), and do the HR portion of an interview. The rest of the interview was to be completed early the next morning. I was not expecting any of this, and I did not have my logbooks or any certain or medical, etc. They worked with me on that, but I had to provide copies of them the... 9. Feb 16, 2024 The study guide on here is spot on. The only prep I used was this website and I felt extremely prepared. I was interviewed by 2 American Pilots, after completing the HR interview and logbook checks. They ask you to keep your answers at 2-3mins and use the formats they give you to answer which is pretty much, what’s your role in The situation/story, what’s your thought process on it, and what was the solution/outcome? They give you paper to write notes down on and collect your... Continue reading this interview experience
