The interview was very close to what others said it would be in the past. Due to the Corona Virus everything was via phone and Online. I received the prescreen interview phone call one week after my resume was submitted internally. Once you get done with that and are successful they set up the three part Skype interview/corporate presentation events. There was technical difficulties on my corporate presentation so they had to reschedule everyone for the next presentation. Right now all presentations are done on Mondays and Thursdays.... Mar 26, 2024 The interview went as written in other people's experience. The technical portion was very straight forward, with a very friendly, experienced Captain leading the interview asking questions about my current jet, general IFR knowledge, and at the end just bantering. The HR interview felt a bit more structured with three interviewers and more stringent questions, the standard TMAAT ones listed, what will be the greatest challenge coming here, etc. The gouge on here is accurate and the... Mar 21, 2024 Interview was straightforward and as outlined by many others on this site. Started with the tech interview with a retired 747 Captain. Reviewed my flight time and experience and asked about the pressurization system of my most recent aircraft. We got into the flight plan that was given in the packet of information they sent and reviewed all of the weather charts, SID, en route, STAR, approach, and taxi diagram. Got into some V speed questions and other various rules and regulations then had... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 21, 2024 Technical interview asked about the pressurization system in my current plane. They apparently pick a different a different system to ask about depending on the day of your interview. Just know the plane you are currently flying. Asked a question off of every page of the 10 page study sheet they send 7 days prior to your interview. It was a 747 Captain that did my Tech portion of the interview. The HR portion of the interview was pretty straight forward. Just be honest and... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 19, 2024 The tech interview was done first and was scheduled for 1 hour but ended up taking about 30 mins. It started off with a few questions regarding my experience and last aircraft I flew. He then went into the pressurization system. I was sent reference material a week prior and questions were asked from every page including ; briefing the approach, giving position reports, identifying jetstream locations and velocity, tropopause, speed restrictions, use of displaced threshold, MSA, METAR and... Mar 19, 2024 Tech interview was a little intimidating. Was asked the latitude of the North Pole. Reciprocal of a radial. Pressurization system of my aircraft. Screen height. Brief an ILS. Went through the documents they sent. Know their call sign is Giant. HR was very relaxed & enjoyable. They ask why atlas. What would a captain you flew with say about... Mar 19, 2024 The gouge on this website is very precise. Study all the reviews because each one gives you different perspectives. Phone call was about 35 minutes of going through the resume, work experience, specially if you had any violation, training fails, accident, incidents, etc… Once you’re approved to, few days later you have a company presentation, what I recommend you taking notes or record to review for the HR interview later. It is very helpful and informative. It is given you... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 14, 2024 The interview was exactly as described here and from Atlas itself -- they set you up for success as long as you prepare. I submitted my application and heard from the recruiter a few weeks later to schedule a phone screen, a brief call primarily to check my hours (and ask "Why Atlas?"). At the end of that call, the recruiter indicated she would be moving my app forward, which involved 1) attending a company presentation on Teams with other candidates (cameras off) 2) scheduling a... Mar 14, 2024 Interview was spot on with the others on the website. Tech portion is very straightforward, basic knowledge questions over the info packet they send you. Nothing to stress about. Know basic definitions of V1, Vr, V2, Vmcg, Vmca, as well as basic systems of your current aircraft. Also be prepared to talk about domestic and international fuel requirements with and without alternates. Also know how to get a reciprocal heading and the 3-1 rule for descent. The study guide on this website has way... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 13, 2024 Atlas phone screening was very basic, a review of your hours, experience, etc. The tech portion was as expected, you'll receive a packet of info including charts, weather, and other items for your review. If there's ink on the paper, know what it means. As long as you prepare for the interview by studying the packet, reviewing the info on here, you'll do well on the tech portion. The tech was one on one, and it flowed very well in a conversational style, very relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed... Continue reading this interview experience
