The interview was very close to what others said it would be in the past. Due to the Corona Virus everything was via phone and Online. I received the prescreen interview phone call one week after my resume was submitted internally. Once you get done with that and are successful they set up the three part Skype interview/corporate presentation events. There was technical difficulties on my corporate presentation so they had to reschedule everyone for the next presentation. Right now all presentations are done on Mondays and Thursdays.... Apr 09, 2024 Interview was very relaxed and straight forward. The questions in the data base covered all the questions I was asked in both interviews. The technical interview must mostly application based on what they send you to review. I was asked about the anti-ice system of my pervious aircraft. The questions where wave top. Think "What surfaces are heated?", "How are they heated?". The HR interview was straight forward. During the intro they ask you to talk about yourself, aka... Apr 03, 2024 Tech portion was with a retired 747 Captain. Super nice guy and super knowledgeable. Definitely made me feel comfortable and at ease. All of his questions were straight from the gouge packet minus a few questions that were super "in the weeds". He even prefaced these questions with "you're probably not going to know this...". Current aircraft systems was reviewed mostly via discussion. He didn't just say "Tell me about the APU". He asked systematic questions... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 27, 2024 The HR call was exactly as described in other's experience. Why Atlas and review qualifications and hours. Schedule for the Tech and HR Teams call two weeks later. The tech panel was a retired 747 Captain. He introduced himself and told me he would be following a script he was given and I should have the printed out material for the scenario for that week. It seems like the scenarios, the questions and the system of the week are all on a rotating basis, depending on which week you... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 27, 2024 The phone screen was for them to confirm your flight times, ask why Atlas, if you could pass all of their background checks. After the phone screen you need to attend a corporate presentation and schedule an interview date.  My interview was scheduled for 2 weeks after my phone screen.  It consisted of a 1 hour technical panel and a 1 hour hr panel.  Technical panel was straight forward and led by a wonderful retired pilot.  Study the packet they send and you will do... Mar 26, 2024 The interview went as written in other people's experience. The technical portion was very straight forward, with a very friendly, experienced Captain leading the interview asking questions about my current jet, general IFR knowledge, and at the end just bantering. The HR interview felt a bit more structured with three interviewers and more stringent questions, the standard TMAAT ones listed, what will be the greatest challenge coming here, etc. The gouge on here is accurate and the... 9. Interview sample 9

Mar 26, 2024 The phone screen was very friendly. Questions about your experience, why you want to fly at Atlas, and about failures in checkrides, etc. The technical interview depends on each person's experience. Make sure to study the systems of your current airplane, the system changes every week. In my case were questions about hydraulics. The HR interview was quite friendly, two captains and one HR person,TMAAT questions, etc. If you study the material you find on this gouge everything will be fine.... Mar 21, 2024 Interview was straightforward and as outlined by many others on this site. Started with the tech interview with a retired 747 Captain. Reviewed my flight time and experience and asked about the pressurization system of my most recent aircraft. We got into the flight plan that was given in the packet of information they sent and reviewed all of the weather charts, SID, en route, STAR, approach, and taxi diagram. Got into some V speed questions and other various rules and regulations then had... Continue reading this interview experience

I felt much more confident and secure in my preparedness for the interview. I liked getting the samples of the TMAAT questions. Those make me nervous, so it was nice to know how I could prepare those answers ahead of time.
