FREE ExpressJet pilot interview information and gouge

It was a very enjoyable experience. Just like others have said; it was low key throughout the process. I won't go into detail on the process (others have detailed this) but highlight some of the questions and observations. #1 make sure you have your packet filled out, uploaded, and also brought with you, along with all important docs (logbooks and employment docs 'SSC, BC, ect'. A couple of people missed this and had to fill out and were stuck. Ask questions during the orientation and interview. They really seem to want that to help them improve. The last thing is I feel is a must. Talk to your fellow... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Apr 01, 2020 Inteview was all of about 15 min. Everything on this gouge is still exactly what they use. Follow this gouge and you will be over prepared. There was no surprises or tricks. Briefed ILS into Ashville NC. Answered 5 tech questions and some very easy HR questions. That was it. Was told I did very well. Waiting to hear back as classes are currently cancelled due to virus. Thank you to this website and the pilots for sharing your... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Mar 27, 2020 Originally planned for an in person interview, but that changed to skype due to COVID-19. Both of the interviewers were friendly and professional. Study the gouges here and you’ll be okay. No trick questions. Was e-mailed an approach plate about an hour beforehand, to brief during the interview. Be familiar with the symbols/etc. Was asked to describe a system of my choice on my current aircraft. Was asked some basic flying questions like the types of drag, etc. And of course, why... 3. Mar 19, 2020 Due to COVID-19, my interview was switched to a virtual interview via online. Overall experience was comfortable. I used the questions as a guide to study and the interview was a breeze. Was asked to brief the KAVL ILS RWY 35 and then went into some technical questions. (view the study guide of this website).  A thorough brief will reduce the follow-up questions.  Ended with a mix of HR questions. Overall about 45... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Mar 12, 2020 Expressjet people have been extremely nice but professional. The lady recruiter did both the HR & Technical. She emailed me the Ashville Rwy 35 and spent 20 mins asking question from chart. If you carefully read the gouges on this website you won't have any problem nailing the answers. The HR was all straight forward questions like what makes a good flight crew, nothing that you won't be able to find if you read the material on this... Continue reading this interview experience
