Apr 16, 2024 Exactly as others described. Study this website and you'll be fine. The process is seamless and well organized, the facility is extremely nice and their employees are great and helpful. The interview was very causal and conversational, a few HR questions like "what got you in to flying" and such, then some technical Q's from the FO, all of which I had seen on this website. Apr 15, 2024 Republic Airways Interview STAY FOCUSED! DON'T BE FOOLED BY HOW WELL THEY ARE TREATING YOU! They treat you like a million bucks. They put you up in there hotel and the place is very nice. They gave me $50 for lunch the day of my interview on a visa prepaid card. When you check into the hotel and you turn on the TV they have a greeting for you waiting on the screen with your name on it welcoming you. Apr 12, 2024 Had technical and hr done at same time. Tech was as advertised. Read a taf and a metar, needed an alternate, fuel requirements for alternate, airspeed questions followed, how fast below 10k, class b, below class b, in vfr corridor thru class b and that was it. Mar 15, 2024 They flew me out to KIND the day before the interview. I got there around 4pm and they had a shuttle to the Hotel lined up about 30min away. Got to the hotel check-in and travel went smooth. Next day interview was at 8am and I arrived in the lobby about 15 minutes early. Mar 14, 2024 Everyone was super nice. Everything on the gouge was accurate. Facilities are fantastic and the staff and captains were very laid back. My captain asked me about hold short lines, and what side I was on by referencing a photo. , had me read a metar. One of the lines on the metar was in regards to snow. I believe it was SNE16B34 (I believe this is snow ended 16 minutes past the hour and then began again 34 minutes past the hour). Asked if we needed an alternate and I said yes, he then asked... Mar 08, 2024 Again, every experience that you read before mine was exactly what I experienced. 4 of us interviewed. I was hired on the spot and given a starting date 5 weeks out (due to my ATP-CTP course being completed). 2 others passed the interview, but need to go to an evaluation board, which really isn't a big deal (60% of the pilots at the company had to go to one). 1 was not hired (he didn't know how to read a METAR/TAF). Mar 06, 2024 Flew out the day before the interview to KIND and then they had shuttles every 30mins back to their HQ in Carmel Indiana which was about 30 mins away from the airport. They have their own hotel for Republic use only and their training facility right next to it. They provided the airfare and hotel. Mar 04, 2024 Went pretty much like everyone else has stated. Great experience overall. Flew in around 8 PM the night before. It was about a 40 minute shuttle ride (Republic shuttle) to the Hotel. Grab and go food at the hotel was the only thing available. You could walk about 10 minutes to a couple of eateries but I was tired and wanted a good nights rest so I just bought a sandwich from the vending machine. Breakfast was good. Mar 01, 2024 Great experience as others have mentioned. Amazing facility (hotel and training center). Met other pilots in the lobby around 7:45 AM the day of interviews. Brief tour of the existing facilities / training center, followed by a HR presentation and Q&A with a few captains. Everyone was welcoming and very positive.
