I had to do a skype interview because of how far away I live from CT. Then interview went relatively well, he started of with just basic HR questions and then we talked about several different approach plates. (view the study guide from this website).  Overall the interview was very easy... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Interview sample 1

Apr 10, 2024 HR interview was straight forward, asked about you, your experience, your flight times, and some standard "what would you do" or "what did you do in this situation if you had it" questions. Technical was exactly what you'd think, very IFR heavy and quite in depth. The Interviewer awesome, and did his best to make it comfortable. Be sure to know about ODPs, SIDS, how to calculate FT/NM to FT/Min, now how to convert Zulu to EDT/EST (Know what one is in effect!!!), Be sure... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Interview sample 2

Apr 09, 2024 First interview is pretty basic, they just go over the company information through a slideshow going over requirements and what they expect from you and them Second interview was more in depth, more of a mini IFR checkride, the questions on this site help a lot they go over a lot of those questions but know your IFR information Third interview was a sim where they have you do one precision approach and one non-precision approach, specially an ILS approach and a VOR... Apr 04, 2024 The HR interview was very smooth and fast. Be honest and be yourself and it will be fine. Have good answers for the team do not just say the bare minimum. The technical interview was a challenge, this is essentially an IR/CFII check ride. Come prepared know your stuff. Approach plates, Departures and arrivals. Know the regs associated with IFR flying, 91.175 / 185. Know your formulas and systems. Answer confidently. (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario... 4. Interview sample 4

Mar 14, 2024 I started off with the first interview over MS Teams—standard HR questions. The second interview was a mini IFR oral exam. Definitely study up on your IFR knowledge. Then Sim, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website).  Hopefully, I will hear next week if I get the... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Interview sample 5

Mar 13, 2024 I had a great experience with the hiring process. Everyone at the company is very nice and helping. The initial interview is the equivalent to a zoom call. I studied ahead for this one but in reality its just a presentation on the company to make sure you meet the requirements and want to pursue flying for them. A couple questions about myself: time, ratings, accidents/incidents, am I willing to relocate to one of there bases etc. Took 15 minutes and I was invited to do the technical 2 days... 6. Interview sample 6

Mar 01, 2024 Interview process was very straight forward. Three part interview process. First was HR, basic questions and a presentation about the company and culture. This was a great opportunity to ask questions. Second was the technical. This was very much like an IFR checkride. Plates, SIDs, STARs, weather, holding speeds, airspace, etc. Study as you would for an Instrument Checkride and you should be fine. Third was the Sim interview. A few approaches to missed and holds. Try and get some practice... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Interview sample 7

Jan 03, 2024 HR was very straightforward. Was asked about my times, what got me into aviation, and my base preference. Whole thing lasted 20mins and we just went through the presentation from the website. Technical lasted 90mins and was just like an IR check ride. Talked about departures and approaches from OXC, LWM, and one other major airport in the NE. No "gotcha" questions. Just basic IR questions and briefed several plates. They run it like you're flying a 3-leg trip for Tradewind and just... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Interview sample 8

Dec 18, 2023 Interview process was extremely straight forward, with 3 parts to it. Once selected to interview you have the chance to select time and date that best suits you. HR is the first step and is about 45min to an hour, and is a general overview of the company, contract, and what they expect of you. Have your current times ready to go, they will require an updated total time, last 30,60,90 days; # of landings and approaches, as well as how much you flew during those time periods. They will ask... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Interview sample 9

Oct 25, 2023 The interview consists of 3 parts as mentioned above: HR, Technical, and Sim. The HR interview is as mentioned: a brief overview of the company and basic questions surrounding your previous training and experience. The technical was longer. The study guide does a great job preparing you for the interview yet there are some questions that were not mentioned. Smaller more specific basic IFR questions. We then went right into scenario based questions. You are asked to brief approaches and... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Interview sample 10

Oct 20, 2023 The HR was pretty straight forward in a form of a PP presentation and they’ll use that to ask you the HR questions along the way. The technical was a bit different, (view the study guide of this website).  definitely study up like an instrument... Continue reading this interview experience
