Interview experience:
Piedmont Interview The interview was held in Salisbury, Maryland and conducted by Bob Trout who is the Director of Human Resources and Pilot Recruiter. The information provided by various interview websites is for the most part accurate with a few exceptions. For one, there is no computer personality test anymore. All applicants arrived at Piedmont HQ by 8:00 am via a ride from the Ramada Shuttle. I personally arrived at 7:30am with a few others and the rest arrived at 7:55am. There is no reason to show up early because there is nobody else in the building except a janitor at that time. Bob Trout himself shows up at 8:00am. There were 13 applicants being interviewed. All had similar qualifications and backgrounds. Everyone had prior Part 121 experience and there was equal representation from Continental Express, Commutair, and Chautauqua Airlines. 8:00am – 9:00am We were lead upstairs to a classroom and after a few minutes of chitchat, we were issued a personality test. You can’t study for this thing and it’s not a big deal. There were two tests. The first was 50 questions and the second was 150 questions. You simply read a statement and then mark 1) Agree 2) Disagree or 3) No Response. S
