Interview experience:

interview began at 8:30 a.m. at allegheny airlines hdq. in mdt. human resources (hr) rep took our employment packets and gave us approx. 50 min. to take a 50 question written examination. miss more than 12 or 13 (can't remember) and you get to go home. the chief pilot (cp) then came in and talked about the companies objectives and plans. he told us that right now, they were hiring to make a pool and not to expect to start ground school atleast until april or later. those that did not pass the written test were then sent home and told to re-apply in 6 months. the rest of us were interviewed in order according to distance traveled to get to md (those traveling the furthest got to go first). they told us that the interview would take approx. 30 minutes a piece - it took less than 15 min. i was interviewed by the cp and hr rep. they were easy going and set a comfortable tone throughout the interview. people
