Interview experience:
Company sends you non-rev (space available) tickets to get to Plattsburgh. For those of you not on the East Coast, this can be an adventure, as everything for Continental connects through Newark. They do, however, pay for a room at the Best Western in Plattsburgh as per all the other gouge. Previous gouge is pretty much right on the money - a very simple 40 question written test - questions focus on Part 91 - do NOT worry if you don't know 121 regs, as they are not tested. DO study the weather chapter of the ATP written guide, though - a few tricky questions on wind shear and maybe one or two on critical/non critical engine. I had a morning interview an arrived an hour early like they said - this allowed me to start on the written test a bit early. The HR people that I met with were not the normal HR folks - but everyone was very nice and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Watch out, though - the written letter they send you says "Bring your logbooks and current medical" - it is ASSUMED that you know to bring your licenses, FCC RTOP, etc. One guy didn't bring anClick here to view all 88 interviews for CommutAir
