Interview experience:

All of the gouges on here are still a constant. My interview was in STL on 23/24May. Total of 19 of us. Lots of furloughed guys from Airways, Emery, and Great Lakes. I think I was the only bug smasher driver in the place. Anyway, as mentioned before, we went through the company information first with pay scales and information on aircraft deliveries and such. Shortly after that, we got our schedules for the next 2 days. I drew the sim first on day one. Lucky me!! My partner and I went to the cockpit mockup and went through the profile just to see where everything was. At 12:30 we met the evaluator and went over the profile. My partner was far more experienced than me, so the eval guy made him go first. Sabre 80 sim was old but still a fairly sim to fly. Pitch sensitive at straight and level but very controllable in turns. My partner did very well in his ride, the power settings they provided him worked like a charm. They DO evaluate you as non flying pilot, so make all the calls and if your partner is starting to screw something up, SPEAK UP!!!. After his ride we took a 30-40min break then it was my turn. Sam
