The environment was very friendly and comfortable. We talked about how we both got into flying and some of our history as pilots. He wanted to know if I had had anything “exciting” happen during my career. He looked through my logbooks and asked about all my check rides. I had them tabbed in my logbook so they were easy to find. He picked an airplane that he saw in my book to ask me about. It happen to be the piper siminole PA-44-180. He wanted me to tell him about the gear system to start. I gave him all that I knew from the P.O.H. but he wanted to know much more than what was in the P.O.H. Then we moved onto the electrica
