Interview experience:
I went to the AEPS Job Fair in FLL on June 7, 2002. There, I met Karen Paar in person. I had been sending e-mail, fax and U.S. Postal Service resumes (probably in excess of fifteen) since 9/11. I also had left several voice mail messages. Only contact ever acknowledged or returned was an e-mail, at the beginning of May, to submit a most recent resume to indicate continued interest. At the fair, however, I was invited to complete an application, and told she’d like to see me in Dallas June 17. Transportation was arranged as well as a hotel room (Baymont Inn). Monday, 17 June, 0800…Five pilots present, two former airline (both former military) and three Part 135. Met Karen, Dave (LR60 Program Supervisor) and Wayne (CL604 Program Supervisor) and was given an overview of the company, current fleet manning requirements, the bid system, bases and coverage requirements and told the likelihood of a three-year wait to upgrade.
