Interview experience:

Submitted my first FedEx Online Profile in Jul 01. Updated the profile monthly and had 3 online references attached to my profile by FedEx employees. Got the call in early Mar 02 for an interview two weeks later. Received a rather thick application package a couple of days later that they wanted returned no later than 7 days prior to the interview. Compile all of your information in advance (10 year residence and employment history, college transcripts, etc) so you can focus on interview preparation instead of application preparation. I flew to AIR, INC in Atlanta for their face-to-face interview preparation and their simulator preparation a couple of days before I had to be in Memphis. At first I thought this was over-kill, but when I was standing in the FedEx building with interview jitters I was glad I did. The face-to-face video taped interview preparation was excellent. I did some mock interviews at home in front of my camcorder but I still had some fine-tuning to do in my presentation. Doing the over-the-phone interview preparation may get you familiar
