Interview experience:

After submitting my resume, I exchanged a few emails with HR, and received a phone call that same day. My interview was scheduled for 13 days later. Because Sky West flies directly from my local airport, they gave me a non-rev pass for the interview. I flew out the morning before, and stayed at Candlewood Suites, the same hotel where trainees stay. It is a nice hotel; the only downside was that airport shuttles do not run early enough to take me to the interview. I arrived at 7am , and was very impressed with the organization. The hanger is large and well-appointed, and the offices are very professional. Every employee I encountered spoke very highly of the company, and everyone appeared very happy to be working there. A big difference from the last commuter I worked for. There were 7 other interviewees. We were assembled in a conference room and welcomed by HR, and we began filling out paperwork. Once completed, we were all given the three written tests: 50-question aviation knowledge (ATP), 10-question aptitude test, and the psyche test. The online ATP study guide was a great help; my test did not inlclude charts, graphs, weight shifts, MAC problems, or anything that involved a calculator. The aptitude test included questi
