Interview experience:

I am a furloughed major 121 pilot that was flying B-737-300/400 for three years and have been furloughed for 6 mos. and Type rated in the aircraft. The reason why I say this is because I heard they needed current pilots on this type. I was called by phone by H.R. person Linda Kellerman for interview on Oct. 8, 2002 at 1:30pm but was asked to come in a few hours early in order to fill out application forms. I was given free non-rev travel out LAX to DEN. While on flight over read their company magazine in seat pocket, CEO is Jeff Potter and looked at their route structure, just to get feel of the big players and their culture. They have made a profit the last three years in a row and have a great employee management relationship. Suggest that you eat breakfast or lunch with a mid afternoon appointment, because you are busy filling out forms for the first 1.5 hours and did not have time in between to eat.
