Interview experience:
Well, I arrived in Dayton OH, The day before the interview and stayed in the Hotel they suggest and it’s only $33 if you are interviewing with PSA. I went down for the free breakfast before the interview and if you go down early enough you might be able to eat with the new hires or the Capt. Upgrade guys and gals and ask them question. The Shuttle will give you ride over to there hanger were the interview is. We all got there 30 to 45 minutes early. Sid Davis was filling in for Jeff Francis who is not there anymore until they hired a new pilot recruiter, which is now Ken Seller. They start off by making you feel really relaxed. First things first are laying out all your paperwork, logbooks, ID’s and Letter of Req. so the chief pilot can review them. Next is a series of 5 written tests. All were timed. You have to go as fast as you can. None of us finished the first test. Don’t leave anything blank there are marked wrong so at least fill something in and hope for the best. First test is the logic, all word problems: The sun rises at 6am in summer the time now is 7am and the sun is up. Is it Summer?
