Interview experience:
The interview started at 8 AM. There were four candidates interviewing with me. First, we took a 20 question written test, same as the other people have said prior to this. Pretty easy if you know your AIM. Next was the Wonderlic test. This is very similar to an IQ test. It basically tells how good you are with logic, association, and math. While the tests were being scored, Rosa (HR personnel) gave us some information about company history, benefits, pay, etc. Then a schedule for the personal interviews was posted. The personal interview was a three person panel, including Rosa, Dirk Melchior, the ERJ program manager, and Chris Michaels, the SAAB program manager. First Rosa asked the HR questions. Why did you choose Chautauqua? How did you hear about Chautauqua? Tell us about your flying career. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What leadership skills do you possess? When was a stressful time for you in the airplane? What is the most irresponsible thing you have ever done in an airplane? Why should we hire you?
