Interview experience:
I'm posting a simplified account of the emirates sim eval which is the only real factor here:
There was no r/w 12L Dubai- But that part is irrelevant because a runway is a runway, an ILS is an ILS so let's see past that and look at what they want out of you.
There is no 3 hour briefing or 4 hour sim as the invitation tells you. Its more like a rush-brief lasting maybe 15 minutes preceded by the glance of your license logbooks. They didn't check if anything was stamped and certified- They were cursory looks. They wanted to get to the sim part asap. That's why they're there.
By they, I mean sim evaluators. There is a need to hire something like 80 pilots a month. I guess the company has begun hiring direct captains. What
