AirNet Pilot Interview:
Flew into CMH the night prior and picked up and interview packet with paperwork to be completed by the morning. Interview showtime was 9:45am and it starts with a overview of the company and a short video. Than there is a 60 question instrument test(very basic part 91). Once completed you do a short 10 question HR interview. Why airnet? Do you like flying at night? Scariest flight experience? What is the most/least rewarding parts of your current job? Why should we hire you?
We were than free to do what ever we wanted untill around 1:30pm.
1:30 return for a briefing on what to expect in the sim. The profile is givin to you the night you pick up the interview packet and there are no suprises. T/O CMH runway hdg to 3000, vectors for APE(appleton) VOR and hold as published on the APE VOR A approach plate (while enroute to the vor expect a AI failure), you than get cleared for the VOR A APE approach and you never "break out", published missed(expect engine failure on the missed) and the ride is ended..........it's a pitch sensitive frasca 142 sim
remember to
1. get a efc time for your hold clearance
2. identify the vor
3. use the checklist provided
4. turn on the runway lights at APE
5. make radio calls at APE
Overall it was a positive experience and it seems like a great company to work for. Good luck
