  7. May 20, 2025 I had my assessment last week. Sim is done as briefed. Mine was on B777 as 4 of us had Boeing experience. It’s very important for you to communicate in the sim and try to maintain a good crm. Flight parameters deviation seems okay if you are keeping the other pilot informed and you are correcting. example being i climbed too high on departure but corrected it. Where would you live in HK and costs etc. Do research as HK is quite expensive if you don't normally live in a city like New York or Sydney etc. Month later Day 1 sim assessment in Hong Kong. Study the profile you are given and practice. Sim aircraft got assigned 7 days before assessment. A few flight simulator sessions go a long way. It is about 30 minutes. The HR was very nice and friendly. I think it is easy to pass this. After passing this, then I am invited to have the assessment in HK. I failed on the simulator part.
