Flew in the day prior to the interview. Scheduled shuttle back to the campus to check into my hotel. Breakfast was provided in the morning followed by meeting in the lobby with the other interviewees, at which point we were met with an HR rep who gave us a guided tour throughout the campus. Fantastic facility, very clean rooms, amenities, extremely friendly folks from senior captains to custodial personnel, and Peggy at reception was one of the kindest women I've met! After the tour, we went into a classroom where we were given a presentation, followed by a Q&A with 2 captains and an FO. They pulled us in to interview individually, at which point I handed over my logbooks to the CA to review during the HR portion. (Pro Tip: If you don't know about Binders for your logbooks and documents - definitely use them!!!  A couple of standard HR questions (TMAAT); Hit the buzzwords with your responses (Safety, CRM, ect.) and be sure to share eye contact - don't just give your... 1. Jul 16, 2025 My process, as with everyone else here, started the day before my scheduled interview when I arrived at the hotel. I am close enough to Indianapolis that I was able to drive up, so I parked in the parking garage next to the hotel. I spent the night, and the next morning at 7:45 myself and three other applicants met in the lobby of the hotel, where an HR rep met us and walked us over to the training center for a brief tour. We then sat in a classroom where there were two training captains and... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Jul 16, 2025 Republic reached out to me while I had my CMEL, I did not have my ATP written complete or had my RATP. Much like everybody else has said, the experience was very low threat, friendly, and smooth. Republic flew me out the day prior and provided a shuttle both to and from KIND. After check-in on day one you are more or less free until the next morning. You meet in the lobby between zero 0745 and 0800 the morning of the interview. From 8 to 9, you will be walked around the training facility as... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Jun 23, 2025 The entire process was super pleasant. I submitted my application,  set up the phone screening the second week of Summer. Screening was generic times, medical, etc. During it I set up my interview. They flew me out the night before, and I got in pretty early so I was able to relax and check out the hotel. The next morning, we started with a tour of the TC. Then we had an HR presentation and a half hour Q&A with the three pilots that were going to be in interviews. Then it was time... 4. Jun 19, 2025 Interview experience was exactly like others that have been submitted. Republic does a fantastic job putting you at ease and the hotel/training center is incredible. All the people there are very nice and accommodating. I flew in the day prior to interview. Day of the interview you meet everyone in the lobby at 745 and meet up with someone who will then give you a tour. After the tour you do a short presentation with someone from HR then a q&a with the pilots. Afterwards they have you... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Jun 18, 2025 Interview was pretty straight forward. The HR portion of the interview were all general questions shown here on AviationInterviews. That was the easiest part of the process. My technical portion of the interview was scenario based. Started the scenario off at the hotel not feeling great, need to possibly take medication, how to know what to take & if it's safe for flight. Then get to the airport, assessing wx, preflight action, then in flight scenario from takeoff to touchdown. Make sure... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Jun 04, 2025 Great experience with Republic, the process was well organized and routine. Follow the guide on this website and you'll do well. Start the day at 8 am for a tour of the training center followed by a panel to ask the pilots any questions. Filled out a questionnaire to update your hours and let them know of any failures. 9 am Interview began, and was straight forward. Just follow the guide. Started with a logbook review followed by HR questions. Standard stuff like Tell me about yourself, why... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. May 29, 2025 The interview was very straightforward. Very similar to the others who have posted their experiences on here. The interview process started at 8:00 a.m. in the hotel lobby, followed by a tour of the training center. After the tour they gave us a presentation and asked if we had any questions. After this, they called us in for interviews in order of our departure times. Interview questions were all straightforward and very similar to the ones listed in the study guide. My interviewer asked... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. May 22, 2025 Same as everyone else on here, only thing I wasn’t sure of was a weather phenomenon on the taff, told him where I’d look to find wxactly what it is. How long it’s valid for, pulled up a picture of a hold short line, pulled up a plate asked me about the d next to the vor and the L. Minimums for the approach, what if we saw flashing lights on the approach, what if it dropped below mins before and after starting the approach, explain an altimeter, ground effect, microburst,... 10. May 19, 2025 Follow the gouge and you’ll be fine! Dress professionally and be a professional. They said they wished more people knew how to interview and come prepared. Some people show up with full beards, a polo, and baseball caps so get a nice suit and dress for the job you want. Allow them to envision you in the left seat where you’ll inevitably be. Be personable and talk with everyone. When in doubt remember- they’re always watching. Be humble, admit error, and fit the culture.... Continue reading this interview experience
