FREE United Airlines pilot interview information and gouge
Pretty much what you read on here is exactly what you’re gonna get. Be humble, go in with confidence, you’re gonna be just fine. Remember, they pretty much already hired you, they just wanna make sure you are who you say you are and that you’re not gonna say something stupid… You’ll sit in the cafeteria, then most likely given a tour of part of the facility by a seasoned and knowledgeable employee. Next you’ll be given a briefing of how the interview is gonna go. Answer any questions about United that they can. Really laid back. Everyone in the facility is on your team, encouraging, and wants you to succeed. Really helps if you go in with a clean and tabbed out logbook! 45min HR, 5 minute break, then a 45 min technical with 2 interviewers in a 12x12 room.... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

Jun 26, 2025 I arrived early to the training center and turned in my logbook. I was seated in the cafeteria to wait for a mentor that would escort us through the museum and to a waiting area. Myself and the other candidates were escorted by our individual pilots to our interview rooms. There was an HR rep and the pilot in a 10x10 room and they asked for an intro followed by 5 TMAAT. Then we were on a 10 minute break followed by the technical portion with a brief, an abnormal, some chart questions, and a... Continue reading this interview experience

Jun 17, 2025 It was a great interview process in Denver and all the pilots and employees put me at ease with how nice they were. My interview was slightly different than most because I had 3 people in the room. 1 check pilot, 1 pilot training to interview, and an HR representative. There were 5 tell me about a time questions and two of those they wanted me to share something negative that I had done and how I turned it into a positive. We came back after a break and did the technical portion. I had to... Continue reading this interview experience

May 28, 2025 Arrived 1:30, checked in, met a few pilots that were all aviate brand new flight instructors, saw the tour of the HQ with Erik, then went into separate room and waited. Had Luke and Lauren for interview, sat down and did introductions then did HR portion. For HR portion, was asked 5 questions. TMAAT you mentored a collegue or crew member. TMAAT you failed at a goal you set out to do. TMAAT you had a crew member breaking SOPM and what did you do about it. TMAAT you were distracted with the... Continue reading this interview experience

May 20, 2025 My interview was very similar, if not exact, to the study guide on AviationInterviews. The whole interview process was pleasant and everyone I met was very nice. Started the interview on time and “tell us something about yourself that’s not on your resume”. Then went into a checkride failure explanation. Then TMAAT. questions, (view the study guide of this website). They want very specific answers with outcomes and lessons learned. Use the STAR format to answer... May 08, 2025 Generally, the Interview was a great experience! Everything went as per the feedback on this website. Hotel across the street and showed up 1,5 hours before the interview. The interview process was very straightforward, and everyone around the training center wished us good luck and cheered us on. The interviewers give you a very detailed brief on what to expect. It's important to prepare all the documents as per the instructions, including logbooks, passports, licenses, and reports.... Continue reading this interview experience

May 07, 2025 United Airlines Pilot Interview Experience The United Airlines pilot interview at the Flight Training Center in Denver aligned closely with expectations from prior trip reports. The process was well-organized, professional, and designed to put candidates at ease. Arrival and Initial Setup I stayed at a Hotel and took the complimentary shuttle to the Flight Training Center. The security team was courteous, guiding us to sign in and providing rubber bands to secure our logbooks. They... Continue reading this interview experience

May 06, 2025 As I got there, I was sent to the cafeteria. People were passing by and wishing good luck, at the scheduled time, an HR representative came for us, oriented us to leave our logbooks at a table and took us on a brief tour of the United museum. Then we were sent to a room to wait for our interviewers. I was with a very nice and gentle pilot, we introduced and went to the interview room. They made sure to make me feel comfortable, and offered to take my jacket off. We started with the... Continue reading this interview experience

May 06, 2025 Great experience overall. This site is accurate. It was only about 90 minutes with an HR person and a pilot. 5 minute tell us about yourself, then TMAAT, then the technical portion, then 5 minutes for why United. Super nice people. Took a break in the middle. Make sure to memorize the 13 briefing parts they send you. You will brief them in that... Continue reading this interview experience

May 06, 2025 Overall accurate experience to everyone else’s here. Intro then 5 TMAATs: Weren’t up to standards, customer service story, critique others, CRM, decision making. Technical: Asked about taxi route, SID climb limits, yaw damper MEL, descent 3/1 rule, holding entry, holding speeds, divert. approach minimums. Weakest and strongest CRM/TEM skill. Why United. I had a fine experience. The interviewers are very stoic, neutral expression. It’s because they are trained that way... Continue reading this interview experience

Very solid, straight forward service that got me ready for both of my huge 121 interviews I’ve had, and I’m 2 for 2 so the results speak for themselves!
