FREE Air Wisconsin Airlines pilot interview information and gouge

I arrived at 8:30 to the convention center in Chicago. There were 2 other applicants when I got there and I introduced myself and checked in at the desk on the left. The interview was scheduled to begin at 8 am and they called us in at 7:45 so BE EARLY. A 4th applicant arrived right at 7:45 and he was feeling rushed. If you stay at Springhill Sweets, they’ll give you a ride to the interview and from there to the airport after. When we arrived upstairs, we were greeted by Carl (a long time Air Wisconsin Pilot) and Noah (Flight Attendant/Recruiter). They were really nice. We were asked to present our documents that the email requested and then there was a presentation of the company by Carl who was one of the new contract writers. After that, we took a 50 question written test in 15 minutes that had a lot of CRJ-200 questions and fairly basic questions that most proficient pilots could answer. There were a few I couldn’t figure out in the time frame but they didn’t seem to mind so long as you could get a decent amount of them correct. We... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  3. Mar 18, 2020 I was emailed a few days after applying and selected my interview date and was flown in the day prior. On the day of my interview I got there about 30 min early and was called up at around 7:45am. When I walked in I was greeted by Carl and he took me to the room where we would have our presentation about the history of the company, the contract, benefits, and a 50 question test. 24 of those questions were pretty much straight from the CRJ guide that was emailed to us to study. After that... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 17, 2020 I submitted my app online and emailed the hiring team. They called me within 24 hours (maybe same day – can’t remember). While the interview starts at 8am, expect to get there no later than 7:35 or 7:40. I would say that you are being observed the entire time and little things count. For preparation, ensure you have ALL the paperwork they ask for and ready to go in the order asked for. Do not use staples, sheet protectors, or anything else – just the copies in order... 5. Mar 17, 2020 I'm not writing an elaborate review because my interview was nearly identical to every other review posted to this website within the past year. It was a very thorough, but relaxed interview. I really enjoyed the process. There was a 40 question written exam to be completed in 15 minutes followed by a 20 minute technical interview, followed by a 15 minute HR interview. If you are a competent commercial/instrument pilot AND you study the three-page guide they sent you in advance, you WILL do... Continue reading this interview experience
