Apr 29, 2024 I interviewed with Abigail, who is newer to the company, but was a 121 pilot previously. She was very easy to get along with, upbeat, and made me feel relaxed during the process. She did begin by telling me about the current hiring freeze & that nobody knows when hiring will begin again. If selected, I would be placed in a candidate pool to be called when they eventually begin assigning class dates again. She allowed me to not commence with the interview, but I elected to continue (I... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 11, 2024 Filled out application at 1250 and heard back next day to schedule the online interview. The soonest available slot was 7 weeks out. The interview was 1 1/2 hrs long. All interviewers are pilots (whether they fly for WUP or just have flying experience) and I will say I was impressed by her. Started with her background and then asked me to walk her through my resume. Asked a couple questions about my experience, plane I am currently flying, etc. Moved on to basic yes or no questions... Mar 14, 2024 I received an email about a week after submitting my application and then scheduled my interview for about a month out. During the HR/Technical interview we started out with a brief introduction of the company and the interviewers background and story. They then opened it up to me to share my story and a bit about myself. They used scenario based questions for the HR portion based on the story I gave them(referencing a horse training gig I had started up a while back) then we moved directly... 9. Interview sample 9

Mar 08, 2024 My interviewer was a fairly laidback guy, as described in previous interviews that I read. First, we talked about his background and involvement with the company. He's been in his current position for less than three months. Next, we talked about the my aviation background, when I got into flying, why I got into flying and what my future interests were. The technical part of the interviews started with its decoding a METAR. We talked about the kind conditions at that field and whether... Continue reading this interview experience

Asked about alternated minimums and all of the factors/planning that go into picking an alternate. Scenario was you are a king air pilot leaving TEB going to MCO. First question involved an inop nav... Continue reading this interview experience
