Very chill, mostly about how the company works. Director of Operations offered me a CJO pending I could pass some written tests and a simulator test on a trip to Detroit.   2. The Interview process was as described. You take a short SAT style test over basic to advanced math questions and a general aviation regulation test over 91, 135, and 121 ops. The test is very outdated, and some questions have multiple correct answers. But that's really not important because I genuinely believe the test had no influence on whether or not I was hired. Then it took another two weeks to do a virtual interview, which lasted about two hours and more or less was just conversational. Then I was invited for a face-to-face in Detroit.   4. Overall the interview experience was great. This company is growing flying mainly MD88s and FA20. Interview was in the offices at the FBO. First thing I did was taking the FAR test that was untimed while the HR grabbed us one by one to do some paper work. Then Randy gave out a presentation about the company.   6. Great interview experience! Myself and one other individual were interviewing that day. Roughly 1 hour long company presentation, 4 written exams. 30 question FAR written exam (untimed), 60 question mathematical exam (20 minute time limit), mechanical comprehension exam (timed, 4-5 minute limit) and a matching exam (5 minute time limit).   7. Interview was as described previously in the gouge. Have to pay your own way to YIP but USA Jet will cover a night in the Hilton. The interview was a laid back process, with only myself and one other applicant in a classroom. It started with a 45-60 minutes overview of USA Jet, including the company's history, pilot life style and future opportunities.   9. Great company. Old equipment. They made me the offer. The SIM was the hardest part. It is a desktop SIM of the MD80. Study the SIM Profile they send you in the interview packet and you shouldn't have a problem. The HR part of the interview is easy. The Chief Pilot attended this part of the interview. His questions were long term related. A battery of timed tests (5 in all), which come right out of the ATP study guide. They represented themselves very well, and Randy (recruiter) is a huge... Randy gave us a 30 minute presentation on USA Jet Airlines, including company history, pilot lifestyle, compensation and benefits.
