  • I had a great interview experience with Envoy. They did a fantastic job conducting the whole interview process and everyone there was welcoming and friendly. I do believe that if they have called you in for an interview they are planning on offering you the job and it is truly yours to lose. With that being said however, I would highly recommend preparing like it was a checkride or a major airline interview. Show up well dressed (nothing too flashy) and conduct yourself like anyone you meet in the building could decide whether you get hired or not (be professional). For HR I and the technical I used the study guide from this website which was very accurate as to what they ask you (especially the first 100 questions). I also studied the Jepp user guide. I would also recommend practicing briefing Jepp plates in order of a flight. for example: start at ORD, read METAR/TAF (do you need alternate) brief taxi route, hotspots LAHSO, takeoff mins etc, then brief the SID, then enroute chart, MORA, MOCA, MEA, etc, then STAR...

This website was spot on. Breakfast burrito is absolutely killer. The entire Envoy team made the day such a pleasant and fun experience, and really took the stress out of it. I think I spent half of my interview session laughing with the HR rep and pilot and just having a good time talking to each other. Super cool people and company. HR is so straightforward, no "tell me about a time" crap. Just want to know who you are, what you like to do in your free time, and why you want to...

The other interview experiences were spot on! Know Jep charts, the technical questions are extremally fair. There was no question that I wouldn't expect myself to understand when arriving to indoc. I used the study guide on this sight and did fine but I also used Jep charts often. Know the 10-9 page... Takeoff mins, RVR, Runway details, etc. Don't be lazy know it all, be able to read a METAR and TAF and say if you need alternates for take off or your destination. Enroute, Arrival and...

Everything is exactly as reported here. The HR and technical questions were spot on so study those. Envoy flew me out to Dallas and put me up in the La Quinta south west of the airport. When you check in they should know to schedule you for the shuttle, but just make sure you’re on the one that gets you to their headquarters with enough time before the start of the interviews. When we arrived the next morning, we turned in all our documents and logbooks and then they took us upstairs...

The study guide is very appropriate. If you study this guide and study the Jepp charts/legends, you will be prepared on the knowledge side. The timeline that others have reported is accurate, as far as how the day flows. My personal profile for getting hired: I've been Air Force flight crew for 13 years; nine of those years as a navigator, and that's why I'm flying for a regional first. I am not a CFI and 90% of my flying has been Air Force. I fly an Air Force 767-200. Most of my study...

The day began with the hotel van picking us up at 6:20 AM and bringing us to the training center, where we brought all of our belongings with us. After arriving, we were taken to a room downstairs with the other applicants to turn in all required documents for review and place our breakfast orders. Once everything was collected, we were brought upstairs to a different room where we spent the majority of the day. They gave a company presentation and encouraged us to ask questions while we ate...

Great experience was just like everyone else's experience. Asked Jeppesen knowledge on airport diagram, STAR, SID, en route. Mine was all DFW others people got ORD or BOS. HR questions asked, (view the study guide of this website).  Technical questions asked holding speeds, Speed limits, alternate rules, how long your temp certificate is good for, how long to notify when you move, something that can be inop on the MEL, medical duration, takeoff mins for DFW RW 35R assuming we have ops...

The experience with the Envoy interview was quite pleasurable. Everyone is there to have a nice time and get to know you, not to intimidate you. The day started early at the hotel. Be sure to have everything ready to go when you leave the hotel; you won’t be going back. The shuttle leaves the hotel around 6:20. A recommendation would be to get down to the lobby early and talk among the other folks you’ll be interviewing with, as you’ll be with them all day. Remember to be...

Shuttle picks you up at 6:20, head to headquarters. Very friendly environment. Interview lasted about 20-25 minutes but was nothing out of the ordinary. Had maybe 7 or 8 HR questions and roughly 20 or so Jepp chart questions. Basic IFR and Jepp chart knowledge is a MUST. Just relax and answer correctly. Overall was a great...

Similar to the posts, before shuttle picks you up at 6:20, interview 20-30 technical questions, IFR, Jepp chart questions. IFR and Jepp chart knowledge is a MUST. quick rapid-fire alternating between HR and technical. and 5 HR questions. study the introduction to Jeppesen charts they sent you and the study guide in this website. Best of...

  11. Aviation interviews really prepared me not only for the interview, but the entire process at the airline I was preparing for. The study guide and interview summaries were extremely accurate and helpful. I would recommend this product to anyone preparing for an airline interview!
