  • I submitted my application early fall. The day I submitted my application, I received an email to complete the CUT-E test. I completed two Meet & Greets with AA.  (one the next month and one 4 months later.   I had a third Meet & Greet scheduled with AA at WAI. Three weeks prior to my M&G at WAI, I...

I got the interview last month. Did HR online meeting. I wore my suit. Only 20 mins and 4-6 questions. Three weeks later I did my in person. Got flight out to DFW and hotel. woke up and did the afternoon slot. They shuttled me over. I meet the other 9 candidates. Got badges and turned in our logbooks and documents. I would recommend having a binder that you can place all your logbooks into one binder. I used an Accordion binder. After that we got walked over to their museums and looked at...

This was easily the most professional pilot interview I have ever had and the entire process was great overall. I had my application submitted for about 8 months and then got an invitation to interview - the email will include details on how to schedule everything including transportation and hotel. The interview process was completed in 2 parts - HR interview and Pilot interview. About 10 days after the initial invitation I scheduled and completed the HR portion over Zoom. The HR...

Identical to what this website says. Shuttle will pick you uk at hotel and drive you to the museum where the interview will be held. Turn in logbook and then watch a ~20 minute movie on American Airlines and their pilots. Go back over to DC-3 and tables are spread out around the footprint of the airplane to complete the interview. TMAY, 2 TMAAT, 2 WWYD, 2 CS (I only remember one of them they asked me) My questions: TMAAT - you helped a colleague through a difficult situation? TMAAT - you...

Interview process was exactly as described many times on this site. After TMAY then TMAAT and WWYD questions mixed back and forth. Runway change while taxiing out at JFK, pressurization problem from LAX-JFK, when did a mentor/supervisor demonstrate a leadership trait that had a large impact on me, when have I had to deal with a new policy, you’re deplaning after a late arrival and have to hustle to your next flight in a different terminal and you see an upset family on the jet bridge...

Used this site as a primer along with other prep company and was nervous but confident going in. Combination of both were on point. Great experience with travel arranged by AA to showing up on campus and being treated extremely well. They make sure you know you're wanted there and put you at ease as much as possible during the interview itself. We started with 11 people and 10 got CJOs. They also said there's 3 sets of interviews going on during the day, so work week sounds like around 30 a...

-I completed my ATP Practical. Immediately after, I updated/submitted my American App. 2 weeks later, I received the Pilot Skills Assessment Test link. I waited a few weeks to take it in order to knock out a few practice tests. After that, it became a long waiting game. I received an email stating my credentialsaccomplishments were what American was looking for, and that I had one week to schedule to my HR Video Interview and the eventual Dallas Interview. I chose the last available day for...

AA hotwash…. TMAAT questions. (view the study guide of this website).  loss of px LAX to PHL - wx gets bad 200 miles from descent - old lady is scared to fly, WWYD - where do you see the industry going in the future All the reports about the flow of events are still accurate. CJO on the spot and drug testing fingerprints. Thanks for the...

The initial process before the In-person Interview is exactly as described here before. They asked to bring all original logbooks from all off your flight hours from scratch. All of your hours in the logbooks must be exact as the ones you put in the application of AA online this and all other licenses and certificates. The day of the in person interview is also as described here before, they really try to make you feel at ease and relax, very cool and upbeat environment. First they check...

Interview is as has been stated. Why American? Tell us about yourself. TMAAT you had a complex issue to solve TMAAT you had a communication error Technical - 200 miles from destination Atis drops to 700-1. Tell us thoughts. Landing Burbank. Dry numbers and it starts raining. Flight attendant is having issues with a passenger. What would you...

4 months from app submission to interview. Once you schedule your interview youâ??ll receive emails to fill out a travel form along with instructions on what to upload to the app site and what to bring to your interview. Follow these instructions closely. The HR virtual interview is basically to go over your app, make sure you have uploaded everything they need, ask one scenario-based question, and ends with â??why American?â? Very low threat. Theyâ??ll pay for your airfare to/from the...
