I had a great interview experience with Envoy. They did a fantastic job conducting the whole interview process and everyone there was welcoming and friendly. I do believe that if they have called you in for an interview they are planning on offering you the job and it is truly yours to lose. With that being said however, I would highly recommend preparing like it was a checkride or a major airline interview. Show up well dressed (nothing too flashy) and conduct yourself like anyone you meet in the building could decide whether you get hired or not (be professional). For HR I and the technical I used the study guide from this website which was very accurate as to what they ask you (especially the first 100 questions). I also studied the Jepp user guide. I would also recommend practicing briefing Jepp plates in order of a flight. for example: start at ORD, read METAR/TAF (do you need alternate) brief taxi route, hotspots LAHSO, takeoff mins etc, then brief the SID, then enroute chart, MORA, MOCA, MEA, etc, then STAR...

This interview prep was spot on. I made flash cards for technical questions and was very prepared for execution. They gave a bunch of Metars, answered three or so correctly then they whipped out a six line Metar with lots of significant weather. I told them the items I knew, and told them the things I would have to get back to them on. I did not try to guess or BS them. They also got me on the "we break out and see the PAPI lights on the left". I said "great lets land"... -

I know how frustrating it can be to read the same thing again and again on these recaps. Be yourself and you'll be fine, study the gouge and you'll be prepared, they wouldn't be flying you out there if they weren't interested etc. but its absolutely true. The folks at Envoy really did such an incredible job making a pretty stressful day as stress free as they could. The day starts out early, try to get some good rest, that last little bit of studying isn't going to be the thing that makes or... -

Out of the 7 people in our group, 8 got hired. They're not slowing down hiring! They get a new plane delivered approximately every 2-4 weeks, and they hiring 20-50 pilots per plane delivered. If you show up prepared and ready, you'll do fine. I was only asked 5 HR questions, and the rest were technical. If you study Jepp plates have strong instrument knowledge, and be yourself, you will do fine. Pro tip: look up the Envoy and check out their interview tips. I also highly recommend throughly... -

As other people have stated, study the study guide! Every interviewer has their own approach, but know your Jepp Charts! Airport Diagram, 10-9A Pages, RVR, Alternates, 2nd Alternates, SIDs, STARs, and Approach Plates. I was given a METAR and TAF at DFW and then the DFW Airport Diagram and 10-9A; The OHARE 8 DEP SID; The SCOLA 1 STAR out of Reno; And the ILS X 17R out of Reno. Be familiar with how these charts work. You'll most ,likely get different ones on your interview. Be proficient... -

Interview day experience was just as expected thanks to previous experiences here. Hotel shuttle pickup 0620. Arrive and they will collect documents and logbooks, then you will order breakfast. The burrito was great! Make sure your documents submitted beforehand are in good order. Then they will do a company presentation as you eat breakfast. They will call small groups to go to a waiting room and then get called each individually to interview. Interview was about 45 minutes long; it felt... -

Shuttle picked us up at 0620, arrived at Envoy by 0645. We were greeted in the meeting room at about 0715 where they collected paperwork and documents from us. Then they took us up to the briefing room where they talked to us about working at Envoy. The briefing was about 45 minutes. Then we started interviews. We were split into two groups and called in one at a time. My interview was 20-25 minutes, but I already had a ton of experience with Jeppesen plates so we flew through that section.... -

Just as described here! Look at the study guide, brush up on METAR's/TAF's and jump around the country looking at JEPP plates. Bring some food for the long... -

It was a great experience they take care of travel and hotel. They will email you directions, but basically first floor turn left at the bottom of the stairs. I had the triple meat burrito and it was indeed good. Others got omelettes. They will have you gather your documents and then upstairs you go. In the conference room they do their slides and introduction while you eat your breakfast. After that is done they will have you wait, and then start taking you out in groups of 3. Questions... -

Envoy did a great job making our group of interviewees (7 FOs and 2 cadets) feel relaxed and comfortable. Our shuttle was about 20 minutes late, and we were met at Envoy HQ by several HR recruiters and pilots. After going over our paperwork, the recruiters gave a presentation about Envoy. Then it was on to the interview portion, and they took us downstairs three at a time. I interviewed with a recruiter and an FO, both of whom were very laid back and we shared some laughs throughout the...
