Again, be friendly and charismatic, talk to the guy quietly gazing into his coffee, share backgrounds and get everyone relaxed. The first part of the interview process is the company brief. Take some notes, pay attention and maybe sling some data back at them in the panel interview that shows you were at least awake in the first part. The panel or sim may come next, they tend to do the sims based on earliest departure flight out. For the panel, be very friendly, likely it will start with an HR person asking some basic questions while the pilot reviews your log book and questionnaire. The interview started with the big 3 normal questions, what’s your bio/background, why Flex and why you. They may side bar onto other topics from there, take the opportunity to have a conversation, talk about things things you know they want to hear (customer service and such) then get back to answering the question. The interview went as others have stated. There were 11 of us on the day. The sim of the day was the Challenger 601. The flexjet seat support was phenomenal, and ran everything for us, all we had to do was fly the plane. Flexjet will send the sim profile in advance and we did exactly what was in the paperwork. I had the phone interview a week after applying for the job. After that, I waited for a month to schedule for the in person and for the simulator. All info is on the website. Pretty straight forward. The in person interview is really laidback. They want to get to know you. The sim was as described, no surprise. We flew in the Challenger. The entire interview presentation, interview panel, and simulator was exactly as described. Suggest reviewing all study and sim guides on this website but if short on time, focus on most recent. Meet and socialize with your fellow candidates as much as possible before the interview starts and in between events. The process is exactly as others have described. I submitted my application on a Wednesday and heard back the same day. I scheduled a phone interview for Friday. After 5min on the phone I was invited to the in person interview . I had a similar experience as others. The introduction is really informative and all questions answered. The sim ride was in a 601 but the profile and help from the assistant was great. You simply had to follow the Vbars and control your speed. They are looking that you can handle yourself and make callouts and briefings. The panel interview was pretty relaxing. Not hired but asked me to come back in 6 months. Panel is simple. Sim was the Challenger, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website). Appears to be a great company. The interview was exactly as described by others on here. It was very laid back but professional. Sim was exactly as described from the info they send you.
