One notable question is a split-second decision I made when flying. This is not saving the plane from a student as a CFI; think about times of truly deciding on something in flight. They also asked how GoJet can do better as an airline; be honest, they stress it's not a "gotcha" question. After, the FO rejoined and led the technical portion. She had me brief a Lido approach plate, the...

This was a Teams video interview with a captain from ORD. There was supposed to be an HR rep as well, but they weren't able to attend. So, the captain conducted both portions of the interview. Started with introductions. The captain told of his background and time at GoJet. Then asked how I got into aviation and what is my background and flying experience. Very conversational and low stress. Then asked the standard required questions of criminal background, check ride failures, have I been...

Super relaxed and straight forward. Exactly as others described, began with a quick presentation about GoJet, then an "about me" portion, TMAAT questions, Why GoJet, then technical consisting of basic instrument questions, approach plate questions and brief (know your LIDO charts), and some basic situation-based questions (Captain is below glideslope in VMC, what do you do?). Interviewers were professional and courteous. Class date 4-8 months...

The interview was very laid back. They asked about my background and experience first. Because I had 121 experience, the interview was shortened, but they asked about a time questions, (view the study guide of this website).   For technical questions, they asked what do you need to continue an approach past the final approach fix. If visibility drops below minimums and you are past the FAF, do you continue? It was a brief interview due to my experience, but pleasant and easygoing...

The entire interview lasted about 35 minutes. There was one HR and one pilot representative. Both were very kind and the process was very streamlined and efficient. Started with the HR representative talking about the company, then explanation of checkride failures, and then some TMAAT questions (Trouble with a coworker, Split-second decision). It then moved to the technical portion which consisted of the exact type of questions that previous applicants had mentioned. MEL vs CDL, what...

My Interview experience was very similar to all the other ones. Go through all the prompts from the last few months and see what people mostly agree on. I interviewed with an HR rep and a captain based in Chicago, remember to ask lots of questions about there perspective. I got the whole Gojets sales pitch and we went straight into the HR portion after she asked me a few generic Yes/No questions. Before hand, definitely have all your flying experiences written down and organized so you are...

Was nervous as anyone would be. Every thing you need to know is in the gouges and study the questions. It is a lot simpler than what you make it out to be in your head. The HR rep and the pilot were both helpful and considerate. It lasted an hr because we got to talking about different...

This started with the HR personnel and pilot doing a quick intro and then asking “Tell us about yourself” They went through a five minute presentation about Gojet, the training, benefits, ETC  then questions. (view the study guide of this website).   “Decode this METAR” (nothing really out of the ordinary, asked me to decode SLP) “If we are planning a flight at 1530Z what is the WX?” (There was a TEMPO for 1500-1600Z) “Using this TAF, is...

Gojet FO Interview Interview date about 2 weeks ago.  Total time: about 55 minutes This started with the HR and Pilot doing a quick intro and then asking “Tell us about yourself” and additional questions. (view the study guide of this website). That ended the HR portion and moved onto Tech:Any...

Interview went very well. Both the HR and FO representatives were very respectful and welcoming. Was relatively nervous beforehand but wound up having a great conversation. Interview is just as the study guide says. Learn LIDO charts, touch up on TMAAT, and be able to talk about general IFR knowledge. Study that and you will be just fine. Good...
