Nov 07, 2023 Straight-forward interview, use the study guide, most of the questions I got asked were on there. The interview lasted about 30 minutes with time for questions at the end. Was a range of standard HR questions, situational questions and multiple choice technical section. If you are accepted you then have to pass a 3 hour checkride with one of their instructors, including a ground portion. Pretty much the Commerical Single checkride all over... Aug 23, 2023 Easy, 5 question interview for MPD, multiple choice on IFR/General "what would you do," situational questions. spent most of the time reviewing logbooks and last IPC/BFR/Checkride. Spoke with Scott, and had someone else in the background listening. Scheduled a class date. Waiting on paperwork. Felt comfortable right after we got started. Most likely, if you are interviewed for MPD program, you will get... Continue reading this interview experience

Overall the interview was relatively low-stress. The study guide questions on here helped, although I was asked a few questions on the multiple choice section that weren’t on here. The interview started with introductions, then a PowerPoint on Mesa, then HR questions (TMAAT), then the technical multiple choice (I’ll include these in the study guide), and finally a couple questions on an approach (can we shoot this with high temps, what are the circling mins for Cat B, what is the... I had a very relaxed interview with Diego. He was very friendly. The interview started out with him introducing himself, then showing a presentation over Mesa. We started with HR questions.  He asked about 8 HR questions then we moved on to the technical portion. I answered some multiple choice questions.  (view the study guide of this website).  After that, he asked me some questions about an approach plate out of PHX and that was it. Very straightforward and the study guide... Continue reading this interview experience

Applied and got a call within a week that was to confirm some of my application information, then offered an interview. Did the interview the next morning with Diego. Had to upload documents before the interview. Interview of Microsoft Teams, started off just confirming time, certs, checkride failures, incidents, etc. Technical questions on basic IFR procedures, approach chart, airport diagram. Then a few scenario questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Received conditional... Continue reading this interview experience

The interview was very quick and fundamentally easy. The interviewer loved to get along and used that opportunity to know about me. The interview had much more human resources type questions such as what would you have done or what have you done with a specific situation. Just be calm, and answer confidently as the company wishes to know more about the personality recently. The technical was extremely easy so just study up on the jeppensen as well as simple IR related questions. It was a... Continue reading this interview experience

The interview began a little late. We introduced ourselves (I had already spoken with Diego 4 days ago to obtain the interview) again. He told me a little about himself and asked me to do the same. We went through a PPT about Mesa Airlines then moved into the interview. Then His questions.  They were so simple and easy to answer. Then to a Jepp chart for PHX His question was can I land if the wx is 49 degrees C, The answer is no because it is in the comments section that it is not... 10. Interview sample 10

The interview started off with a series of basic HR questions, which included asking me about my interest in the company, my prior experiences, and my understanding of the company's history and mission. I was also asked about my knowledge of any accidents or check ride failures, which I found to be a unique and insightful approach to understanding my ability to learn from mistakes. The HR questions provided me with an opportunity to showcase my knowledge and passion for the aviation... Continue reading this interview experience
