  • Interviewed for the MPD program in Prescott. initially applied late last year, heard back end of Winter, then heard nothing until first part of Spring when I was given an interview date of about 3 weeks into this month. I believe that the Prescott location was still in the process of opening during this time and so the process was slower. For the interview, I was given a 60 question printout, mostly consisting of commercial and private checkride questions with some instrument stuff thrown in there. There was an...

The MPD process was very simple. We sat in the briefing room and listened to an overview of the MPD rules and how to fill out required forms. We were added to a schedule pro company as well. It s good to have read and be familiar with the SOPM and POH, but you are not being tested on it for this portion. You, then, wait to be scheduled for the flight. This has to be 3 hours long. You will simulate IFR to KGNV, shoot an approach, and then do some commercial maneuvers and learn about the...

Applied for Mesa pilot development program back in last fall. Never heard back until about the spring of this year. Once I heard back from them they proceeded to give me a interview date down Inverness location. Along with this they sent me an email regarding the schedule of the interview day. Basically how it was going to go. Within this email they told me to plan a route that they provided. They also told me to plan a weight and balance for the day. They also attached the poh of the...

Wasn't really an interview. It's a orientation and show and tell about the facilities. Then they schedule you a check out ride in the plane. Which consist of commercial maneuvers and a approach to minimums. The plane is super small but very capable VFR machine. They have about 20 people in the program and looking to get around 40 total I believe... with 18...

Straight-forward interview, use the study guide, most of the questions I got asked were on there. The interview lasted about 30 minutes with time for questions at the end. Was a range of standard HR questions, situational questions and multiple choice technical section. If you are accepted you then have to pass a 3 hour checkride with one of their instructors, including a ground portion. Pretty much the Commerical Single checkride all over...

Easy, 5 question interview for MPD, multiple choice on IFR/General "what would you do," situational questions. spent most of the time reviewing logbooks and last IPC/BFR/Checkride. Spoke with Scott, and had someone else in the background listening. Scheduled a class date. Waiting on paperwork. Felt comfortable right after we got started. Most likely, if you are interviewed for MPD program, you will get...

Overall the interview was relatively low-stress. The study guide questions on here helped, although I was asked a few questions on the multiple choice section that weren’t on here. The interview started with introductions, then a PowerPoint on Mesa, then HR questions (TMAAT), then the technical multiple choice (I’ll include these in the study guide), and finally a couple questions on an approach (can we shoot this with high temps, what are the circling mins for Cat B, what is the...

I had a very relaxed interview with Diego. He was very friendly. The interview started out with him introducing himself, then showing a presentation over Mesa. We started with HR questions.  He asked about 8 HR questions then we moved on to the technical portion. I answered some multiple choice questions.  (view the study guide of this website).  After that, he asked me some questions about an approach plate out of PHX and that was it. Very straightforward and the study guide...

The interview was very easy to set up and the progran explained how to set up the interview via video and how to respond to the given question in the interview and how to record your respond and if you did not like you can try again until you are satisfied and sumit your respond, i did prepare for the interview for more questions with more complex respond but the three question that were posted to me were easy to repond one of them was if i had a checkride failure...
