Read Page 1 ... those. My reply was by the checklist and SOP, and the interviewer kind of smirked and acknowledged that yes, obviously, but what would you be doing. He wanted to know basic steps like removing fuel flow and allowing engine to motor to cool, etc. No clue if I got it wrong or right but he seemed to respond positively to my replies. Aerodynamics we covered the standards and not much more. Dutch roll Coffin corner Swept wing Wing spoilers Camber Flaps/inboard and outboard Scenario question was odd and shifting. “Your FA informed you there is a bad odor coming from aft latrine” Turned into “FA says the odor is bad enough some passengers now claim they can’t breath”. But he never said it was smoke, didn’t smell like electrical fire,...

The interview was very quick and easy, as I felt I over prepared. Started with going over my totals and reviewing my documents. After we went through hr questions which took about 15 mins. From there interviewer gave me a choice of crm or technical. I chose crm and he gave me a scenario of and engine out 200 miles from my destination. My destination was 100 feet above mins and my alternate was vrf. Next we covered technical which was super brief, everything that was on the app. overall easy... -

Started off with HR questions about flight time totals, then did introductions and went straight into the technical with a scenario that we were going to be using for the whole interview. I was captain flying. Went over NWKRAFT, and specifically the weather section with a basic METAR and TAF, but on the TAF, he was looking to identify that a cold front was coming in, which would bring a wind shift. Talked about my specific airplane engine and constant speed prop. And the electrical system... -

My interview was very similar to what others posted. Started with introductions, then went into my flight times (have your 30, 60, 90, 6 month, and 12 month hours already totaled). HR portion was pretty straight forward (why SkyWest, what challenges do you foresee for yourself in training, etc). Technical portion covered a lot of topics, but each subject was only briefly touched on and then we moved on the next. CRM scenario was an engine fire while on departure, and I was hand flying the... -

All in all, a really straight forward interview. They did a great job setting a relaxed environment that made me comfortable. First we went over total hours so make sure that is ready so it makes the interview go smoother. Then some basic HR questions that were on this website. Then we got into the technical section which covered everything from basic vfr cloud clearances to swept wing aerodynamics. Unlike what you would think, the more information you give in your answers, the less follow... -

Interview was 2.5 hours long. Started with introductions then went into why Skywest, what does culture mean to you and a scenario w a flight attendant who reported another flight attendant smelling of alcohol. Then got into the technical portion. Went over preflight prep and what youâ??re looking for in a walk around. What documents do you need plane and pilot. Went into weather, a simple metar and taf and if based on the taf would i need an alternate. Moved onto airport signage and the... -

Interview was very straightforward. Started with HR questions that are all on the study guide. Asked 4-5. Technical portion began by reading a METAR and TAF. Reviewed airport markings and signs after and discussed weather. Talked about a few systems on my current airplane and then explained how jet engines work. Continued on to talk about filing alternates and the associated minimums required. Reviewed an IAP, SID, STAR, and Airport Diagram. Discussed high speed/altitude aerodynamics then... -

Interview started with a brief "Get to know", interviewer was a young FO. We followed up with the required HR segment and a "why Skywest?" then went right into a CRM scenario. (Seizure patient, stops seizing vectors to final at diversion airport) After that we did about 45 minutes of technical; jet systems, high alt/asp aerodynamics, systems of aircraft of your choice, mountain waves and lenticular clouds, and jep charts. Finished up with a bit of "what's next" and "any questions", I heard...
