  • Read Page 1 ... times multiple interviewers came out and said to make sure you have all your documents in hand. 3 Parts as has been reported previously Logbook review (make sure your logbooks are in order and you can verify your hours easily. Follow the instructions you receive in the guide they send to you so you have all of the information tabbed as they requested. This made it easy for me when they asked when was my CFII check-ride. When was your commercial check-ride, etc. Each candidate received different scenarios in the SBQ. I can't say anything different than what has already been posted before. Mine seemed to be a bit fast paced but we were playing out a role as if we were in...

Very relaxed. Just be yourself when you check in! Our group had 20 candidates. Part of AM group and had HR, Logbook Review, and SBQ in that order then the tour. HR questions are as studied. TMAY, Why SWA, TMAAT you had a difficult flight, etc. Logbook Review is straightforward. The recruiter asked one questions about TMAAT. SBQ was fuel contamination. Just make sure to include everyone and ask questions. During each portion they usually take notes, donâ??t worry if theyâ??re not making eye...

Overall Structure of the Day Very organized and professional. The day included: Logbook review Scenario-Based Question (SBQ) with role play HR + Pilot panel interview The atmosphere was professional and efficient. Some portions were conversational, others were more rapid-fire and structured. Logbook Review Conducted by a pilot interviewer. Very straightforward. Primarily data verification and entering totals. Expect: Total time breakdowns (TT, turbine, PIC/SIC, etc.) Type rating discussion...

Process is exactly like what youâ??ve read here. I was in the AM group, arrived by 0730, check in with email they provided. Given a presentation on the company which lasted about 45 min. Then all taken to a nice waiting room with drinks and snacks that are available to you throughout the day. We were each called back one by one for one of the three portions of the interview (logbook, HR panel review, and SBQ). Not everyone does it in the same order. I did the logbook review first, very...

I was part of group B. I arrived at 10:05 local time. Once inside, you have to register at the front desk, and they give me a visitor ID (label you must put on your chest). Then we socialized and got to know each other. Around 10:45, they collected our logbooks and gave us a short briefing of what we would see during the day. We stored our bags and took a bus to see the facilities. The tour takes you through different training rooms, company offices, the Sims, etc. Then a 45 minutes of a...

Interview was just as described on this page. I was part of the PM group. Day started with a tour of the facilities which let me sayâ?¦ are pretty impressive. After we got done with the tour, we went in for a 45min company presentation and after than we all went to a waiting room were we got called randomly for our interviews. Interviews were really straightforward and exactly as described here. They truly want you to succeed and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Honestly...

Started in the AM group with a short presentation on the company. Then went into the general seating area and they pulled us back 1 by 1 through the interview process. I had logbook review first which was super quick and straightforward. Just make sure logbooks are clean and best case self-explanatory. Went over the interview form hours together and that was it. Went into the SBQ and had a similar scenario to those described on this website. Straightforward as well. HR portion took a bit...

Overall, a great experience interviewing at Southwest. Everyone was very nice and the environment was fun. The day started with a group of about 20 people. Then you do the presentation about SWA. Then you are randomly selected to do your logbook, HR, and SBQ. Each segment lasted about 15 minutes. Biggest thing is just being calm and honest in your stories and problem solving. Everyone didnâ??t feel very confident in the SBQ, including myself. The questions asked were similar to on here but...

Interview / Entire Day was as advertised based on previous posts on here. Overall I felt really prepared. However, I felt that the HR Panel portion was extremely rushed. They stated they were running behind and multiple others felt the same way. Logbook Review was straight forward. Logbook was well tabbed out (as instructed) leading to minimal questions regarding times. Very cut and dry. No problems or questions. SBQ was cracked windshield at cruise. Work through scenario as you would in the...

Showed at 7:30am, we handed in our logbooks and then placed our baggage in a room with our phones and smart watches. At 8:05 we were given a brief by a current captain with the company history, some recent changes at the company, and some pilot specific contract rules regarding pay etc. At 9am we all went to a waiting room and were called back 1 by 1 for the three 15 minute portions of the interview. There were drinks and snacks in the waiting room. Logbook review was done 1 on 1 with a...

Group B; arrived at 10am and already a handful of people in the lobby. Tour of LEED center was awesome and great opportunity to ask questions. HR Panel first â?? had Justin (10 year CA) and Alex (HR). Everyone says it but SUPER conversational. I think that I didnâ??t even have as many outright questions because things came up organically through our conversation.  TMAAY questions. TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website).  CA gave me a sort of short scenario with...
