  • The in person interview was a long day but overall pretty relaxed. Technical exam had a random mix of IFR questions, raw data high alt winds and temps decoding, how to go missed off a circling approach, ACARS, stall characteristics of a swept wing, circling radius for cat C, 135 duty times, max holding speeds, max procedure turn speed, speed limit under the bravo, alternate rules for 135. The in person interviews were...

This is a people company, dedicated to supporting and investing in their people. As a pilot, you are the face of the company â?? a brand ambassador â?? so present yourself as a team player who takes a professional approach to offering a premium customer service experience. The interview matches exactly whatâ??s described in the study materials. Be candid rather than improvising an answer â?? they can usually tell when youâ??re being evasive, and theyâ??ll follow up if something...

Simple interview with all information here still accurate. Vista did their best to make you comfortable while slightly challenging you. The Sim was touchy, and the one-on-one interview was about an hour long with questions tailored to my previous experience and some jet stuff thrown in there. After they were done explaining how their company operated, benefits, and normal spiel, they gave us our assignments for interview and Sim on the in house CL30 sim. We were there from 0730 until 1645 or...

Webex FaceTime thing interview. Basic interview questions, (view the study guide of this website).  I had a chance to ask questions. However, the interviewer was at Oshkosh watching the air show. I could tell after the first sentence that they had no interest in conducting the interview/more focused on the air show so it felt very...

Very similar to the rest on here. A couple days after submitting my application I received an email offer to do a Zoom style interview. The gouge on here for that is perfect. I was told at the end of the video interview that I made it to the next level and was asked to do an in person interview. Do your diligence and look the part. I wore a dark charcoal suit, white shirt, and a bright red tie. As with any of these interviews, at first starts when you walk in the door. They sat us down for a...

Pretty consistent interview experience with what others shared on here. Transportation and accommodation is provided, day starts with a shuttle from the hotel to their training center, presentations from multiple departments on the company and structure followed by lunch and 1:1 interviews and sim. Some of us did sim before the interview, sim is fairly simple and same as in gouge. Study the packet they send you. I got asked questions mostly relevant to what I would know coming from a...

Just normal Tell Me About Yourself and why Vista. Then talked about just day to day life and a few technical and weather questions. All from the website. Was not a big deal. Technical,  read an approach chart and other...

Started the day with a presentation on the company background and a written test. Study the questions on this website.  After that, we were all given an interview time and sim time. Some in our group finished at 4pm and the others at 6pm. Interview was a friendly conversation about your background and a few TMAAT questions. Sim was a takeoff, level off, radar vectors to come back on an ILS. No Flight Director or...

Interview day started as described by others here with a 30 question knowledge test with the questions in the study guide here. The oral interview was HR, technical, and scenario questions. (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario section).  The sim eval ends once you land the ILS. I absolutely busted this sim, they are extremely understanding in your experience level coming in. Sims went in groups of 3 and before you start they ask your total time, jet time,...

First interview was a zoom call with HR. Very friendly gal named Lacey did mine. Tell me about yourself, walk me through your resume and 5 technical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  A few days later I received an email about moving forward to pilot assessment. Be prepared for a long day. 0745-1845 for our group to be fully wrapped up. Starts out with a meet and greet, everyone is very friendly. 30-40 min presentation about the company, 30 question written test with...

Overall it was a really relaxed experience. I found every one they brought in for the interview to be really nice and sharp so if you have an interview you can probably consider yourself that. You do an online interview situations like loss of pressure, tell me about a time, and walk me through your resume. In person is very similar some sort of situation you walk them through, can you provide a high level of customer service ect. One thing I found they were good at the in person interview...
